    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I know most of you are well aware of Don's well-deserved reputation, but I just wanted to tell you all about my latest dealing with him, which has impressed me all over again!

I wanted an adult male bloodred corn.  Well, Don had one that he was willing to sell me.  In the process of discussing prices, I told him about a "pair" (they turned out to be two females) of Kisatchie corns a local guy had, and I asked him if he would be interested in them for a trade?  He said that he would.  I was able to buy the two "K" corns from the local guy for more than he paid for them, and then ship them to Don.  When he got them, Don said they were definitely Kisatchies and likely the daughters of one of his breeders.  I thought, "Cool, he likes them!"

Don offered to trade me even (the bloodred male) for one of the "K" corns and then give me another snake in trade for the other "K."  Well, that was more than I had hoped for, and I was VERY grateful.  Anyway, what it all boils down to is that when I opened my shipment, I found one of the DARKEST morst gorgeous bloodred males I have EVER seen AND a truly beautiful banded motley female!  

I just can't say enough about how absolutely perfect these two snakes are in appearance and health.  They were shipped with Don's usual professionalism shining through, but their colors and her pattern were literally stunning!

I've sold all of my babies this year, but I just cannot wait for the spring to roll around again.  The thoughts of what these snakes will add to my breeding projects have my head spinning!

I finally got to meet Don at the Houston Breesers expo a few weeks ago.  He is terribly funny!  He has great service and an awesome selection!  And his garentee goes WAY beyound the call of dudy!

I got my first CB snakes from Don and I had contacted several folks asking questions and got no replys but Don went out of his way to answer me and help me ending with me purchasing 10 snakes on 2 occasions from him and plan on doing more next spring. Super guy they dont come no better-cant say enough him but few folks have gone out of their way much as he has to help us get started. LOL the us is My son and his hobby and now hes got me involved-Jim Bond
 
I have to chime in here too.

I bought a killer sunglow motley from Don which I had some trouble with for some unknown reason. Don didn't hesitate at all - he helped me with my struggles and made me more than a satisfied customer - in fact, he went above and beyond the call of duty.

As one who is just starting out selling a few of my animals recently, I have learned a lot on customer service just from dealing with Don Soderberg of South Mountain Reptiles.

What a pleasant man - the best, prompt, courteous and professional service around - and the most stunning animals I've seen.

I don't know how much influence I have on anybody - but Don is just terrific and a pleasure to deal with.

I can only echo the good words about Don that others have said. The corns I have from him are just gorgeous, and Don's customer service is top notch. He definately goes far and above what most people will do in that department. ...I can't wait to see what he hatches out next year.

I have known Don for years, and I have bought animals from him, and he has bought a few from me, and I have never had a deal go wrong.
As a matter of fact, I always felt that Don was going out of his way to help me out when he could.
I got a couple of corns from Don last year, and one this year, and they are all great as usual. Don's great reputation is well deserved. Anybody that has talked to Don about Corns can tell that he really loves what he does. I expected to see a few more posts here, but people probably just think that everybody already knows Don has a great rep. Keep up the good work Don.

Getting on the band wagon...

a little late, but I have to say that I am a proud owner of a few South Mountain corns as well. Don is the best. A true professional and a darn nice guy. I enjoy talking with him so much, wish he lived next door!

I contacted him recently for something he couldn't supply and even took the time to go online and try to help me find it!

I can't say enough good things!

I have been to so many herp shows, here in TX and the expos in Daytona, and honestly, Don Soderberg is truly one of the absolute best guys in this industry that I have met or dealt with. He loves what he does, and it shows in his corns and other snakes he breeds. Every snake I ever purchased from him was top of the line. Last but not least, he is a good friend as well.

I just got finished unpacking 14 new snakes from Don and just cant say enough good things about this man.What I recieved well exceeded my expectations and would highly reccomend him to anyone looking for superior service and animals.I got everything from Emory and Rosy Rats to Corns to Milks to RoseyBoas to Kings and all were beautiful healthy well cared for animals. I just got another shipment in From Don a few days ago and like always they are beautiful no feeding problems and arrived very well packaged.I got an assortemt of his Okeetees,Bloodreds, Creamcicles,Alb Rosys,Amel and Striped corns. Highly reccomend Don/South Mountain Reptiles--no Doubt--Jim Bond
 
I can say that the four snakes I have purchased from Don, which consist of three cornsnakes, an okeetee, blizzard, and a reverse Okeetee, as well as one of his Albino Nelson Milksnakes, are all awesome animals. Don always answers his emails promptly, with any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have. We've been very happy with his service and the quality he has provided to us. We will continue to buy from Don in the future.

Man, Don is one of the greatest guys EVER! Years ago when I first got a crappy website up Don looked the whole thing over and emailed me all the typos. At first I was like who the heck is this guy thinking he's all high a mighty. However by the time I was done with the email I knew he was just being a really good person and helping out a young guy just to be nice.

Him doing that has always given me a huge amout of respect for him. We seem to like the same morphs, he's always easy to get in touch with and willing to help with just about anything. I think he's just an all around excellent human being.
 
I agree. The miami motley corns I got from him this year are gorgeous. :) (And so are the other snakes I've gotten from him as well, of course.)
