In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

scam

I've been talking to him in text& on the phone. He has a Mississippi phone #. When i was gonna have someone from atlanta go look@ the ultra ivory& pick it up for me, he has moved to macon. He has 250 snakes to get rid of before he gets deployed for the 4 time. He only takes western union& money gram. When i let him know the guy that would be coming to pick it up was a logansville PD officer, he said it was ok if he couldnt make it. Lol

Has anyone else seen this ad?

Sounds... strange. Putting money done on a clutch that hasn't hatched yet. Do people really do this?!

He was offering 3.2 Ivories, for 800.00 a pc.... The last thing I read, he had 1 left. So that means 4 people "purchased" these animals. Inductive reasoning points to atleast 1 of these animals being sold to someone on this site...lol If anybody here has purchased 1, please post a pic. "If its too good to be true, it probably is"

It would be great if he turned out to be legit but 800 is way too much to take a chance on it. Even though most ultras sell for around 5k.

I spoke to his brother, on the phone, a few times and had many texts from him.

This "brother" said the seller was too busy...said he works at Walmart, has 200 snakes and imports/exports, on a weekly basis. Never said anything about ANYONE being deployed. He told me his brother also had Albino Golden Childs and Albino Motleys...all for less than a grand...that he was wanting to sell. When I pressed for pics of those, he changed his mind and said he wasn't selling them after all.

He did send me pictures...two pics of the same snake and when I asked for more pics, of the other 4 for sale, he said they were already sold.

When I asked him, repeatedly, why his brother was selling them so cheap, he said his brother was "trying to crash the market".

When I never called/text him back, he blew my phone up, wanting me to hurry up and finish the deal, for the last one.

I would definately be interested to know how bought the other 4. He said some guy bought 3, the first day. Then, said someone from Spokane, WA bought the 4th one.

Did the brother send you the pics, or the 'seller' himself? Can you post up the pics?

The brother sent me the pics. He's the only one I dealt with, since he said Donny was too busy.

I posted these pics on the forum I'm apart of, hoping that someone could say "Hey, those are so and so's pics!" and prove this to be a scam. Maybe, someone here can do the same thing.

The phone number, that I received calls/text from, was (601) 329-3533.

Can't say that is a suprise...I figured it was him, and that's why he wouldn't post pics.
Must have too much crap on my plate, since I didn't bother checking the phone number :shootfoot

Yeah same story with me was interested in the ultra Ivories gave me some big excuse why he couldn't take pay pal something to do with a fake check. Don't know what a check has to do with paypal. Gave me the names of people he worked with one who is on this section for shipping dead snakes. Said he could give me references but only people who weren't well known in the business so as far as I am concerned thats no reference. Then would not stop pushing me to go through with the deal. shady.

Now I understand why I didn't check the number - it wasn't listed in any of the ads. At least he's trying to evolve...but he does have a tell. I'd share, but then he'd be that much closer to not arousing suspicion.

I knew something was wrong when I responded to one of his ads, letting him know that I was local and would like to come and checkout the animals in person. He never responded again. Go figure. :shrug01:

This just in...quoted from Ben Renick, of Ben Renick Reptiles (he creates amazing high end morphs of Balls, Retics and Condas)

"The photos are mine, I had an inquiry on someone that was interested in an ultra ivory, asked me to text him a couple photos, then he gave me some elaborate story of how he couldn't pick the snake up because he was in a car accident.

It is a complete scam and I will be contacting him again about using the photos. That is 100% my ultra ivory, in my possession, do not send this person any money.

I cannot find the ad, but if it hasn't been reported, it needs to be.

100% scam."

What a lowlife. In his texts, his signature was SEMPER FI, short for SEMPER FIDELIS (always faithful). Faithful to what exactly? Screwing people over??
