hey there,

Im inquiring on Dorrie Wright or an email address of [email protected] anybody heard of these people? They both sign emails as Randy but no last name and are local to S.D.

The reason I ask is because they seem to be trouble and love to harass me through emails.

let me know if anybody has any info on them?

You're gonna deal with a lot of this in this hobby/business.. I'd start compiling a list if I were me.. Lol. This way, you know when and where to clown on 'em!

oh they are definitely on my bad list lol :) just wondering if they have been trouble for anyone else as well and kind of giving a warning I guess to people about them

Yeah Randy wanted a proven breeder male bumble bee 66% het ghost and 2 female super pastels that were I believe around 400 grams. I gave him a good price and he asked about a trade for a male firefly. I asked if he was talking a trade for one of the super pastels and the bee. He wanted all three for the firefly. When I said no he started calling me a baller and such. I responded by telling him that I felt that was unfair especially when BHB had one listed for under $1000 and Brian would give me a better price. From there it went to "I am a good christian man taking care of his family" to "I aint no punk if we ever meet" and everywhere in between. At one point he asked me "come on man hook me up and trade me all three" then once again I was so far out because he could get snakes so cheap. Thats why I told you Debbra, don't ever go meet this guy for a deal. No telling which guy you will get!

or what he will do! He has been sending me rude emails all day cussing me out and this and that because I refused his offer on my 2009 pastel female. He offered $150 I said no thanks should have been the end right? Wrong then he keeps emailing me saying Im every name in the book and he can get queen bees for $400 bucks and pastel girls for $100 bucks and the whole run around.......so people beware this person is bad news
 
Sounds like a real winner...NOT.

On the other had I actually did get pastel girls for $100 each. Not many people will though.
 
Good luck! We have a couple of "those guys" around here to. Next he will tell you he knows all the big breeders and will have you cut off!!!

it is possible to find babies for that low or maybe from a personal friend but the animal that he/she was inquiring on was a 2009 pastel female not a baby :) and yes they are totally winners lol

I have had issues/run ins with this guy too... He wanted to trade my proven female 1700 gram spider for a hatchling male pastel and a hatchling male Mojave. Then continued to lowball me. When I told him I might consider a trade for his hatchling firefly female he told me he sold her and she was the only one he had, only to later (2 weeks later) offer her for my breeder female spider and a 700 gram female spider. When I confronted him about it he got defensive, said he is a Christian and doesn't lie then kept harassing me. Next time I talked to him he offered me $60 for 2 2000 gram normal females and a 900 gram female normal. I've been ignoring him whenever he contacts me since... I don't bother wasting my time with his insanely low offers. He's one of those people who will lowball the hell out of you and get defensive when you deny his offer, and gets pissed if you even offer a price slightly lower than he is asking for one of his snakes. He's not the kind of person you will enjoy dealing with...

he has tried to buy a few things from me before I had a 700 gram female spider for sale back in the beginning of 2011. I put her on fauna and craigslist for $350 and he offered me a baby male het red as a trade and said he would ad cash to the offer and for me to name my price. I told him ok the het red is only worth maybe $150 to $175 so ad in $150 and ill take it. He got completely defensive and pretty pissed off cursing me out telling me im a crazy psycho B**ch and this and that because his het. red was worth way more than that. I told him ok well since you dont agree then no thanks ill pass but thanks for the offer. He continuously harassed me for weeks then finally emailed me from a different email which was "dorrie Wright" and made a different offer with the het red for trade.......so to avoid further problems I told him the spider had sold. Then he cussed me out in multiple emails like for no reason at all, basically because I said the animal was sold but the ad was still up. Then claimed that he was a big breeder and that he knows all the big breeders and he is going to burn all my bridges and blah blah blah

I could not believe how defensive this guy gets its like ridiculous! Hes like bi-polar.......oh and then after he cusses you out and threatens you and all the crap he says "oh Im a good christian man who goes to church 3 times a week and you should go to church and learn this" BLAH BLAH BLAH
whatever dude. seems like more stories are poppin up about this guy I cant wait to see what else pops up LOL
 
Yeah, this is someone I regularly avoid dealing with. I can brush off a lowball offer (and by lowball I mean severely under the value of the animal, not a slightly lower offer) and be civil about it, but harassing me because I respectfully declined is annoying, if not downright angering. When he inquired on my adult female spider again I told him I am shipping her out in trade for a 500 gram female bumblebee and a 400 gram female lesser (he wanted both my female spiders for his firefly) and he became angry about it, went off on how his hatchling firefly is superior quality and how he already has a trade lined up for 4 different co-dom females (just for the firefly), how I am an idiot for passing this deal up (really? if you have a better offer, just take it), He went on about the things I could make with her. Mind you, I was respectful, honest, and civil during the whole ordeal (well most of it anyways, at the very end I got angry about him harassing me and ripped him a new one on his shoddy business practices and his lack of maturity when dealing with people of differing opinions...tbh) Seriously... If someone has a better offer they should take it, I won't get angry or offended (unless I already put money down on an animal) At this point I wouldn't even sell one of my animals to him if he DID pay asking price, just because I don't want to deal with him again. Your experience may be different, but mine was terrible and I will never buy from him, or sell to him.

I have actually been to his apartment. Don't have a picture of him, but I remember what he looks like... Is anyone a police sketch artist on here? Lol
But in all seriousness... When I went there about a year ago he hadn't even started breeding ball pythons yet (he didn't even have an incubator, and he told me so) He wasn't rude when I took a trade for a small (500-600 gram) female normal for a guitar and all it's accessories, every dealing with him after that though, was not a good experience...
 
Does anyone actually have full names, addresses, phone numbers? It truly sounds like this person (or persons and aliases) needs to be identified as thoroughly as possible in order to alert honest, reputable vendors/buyers.

I have sold to Randy on two occasions. Never again.. I sold him a female pastel a while back. When we made the exchange I told him the sire is an as of yet unproven 66% ph caramel. Well not six months later he is selling a female pastel het caramel. I emailed him to be sure, if that was the same animal, it could not be labeled that way...and if it wasn't the same snake, how much was he asking for it. Well I got no response...... I can also say he is the furthest thing from a"big breeder"... When I first met him a year and a half ago, he had yet to produce a clutch. He later called me after he panicked after he cooked his first clutch. For clarification, I believe you're dealing with just Randy. He is a hispanic male in his 30s. He drives a black diesel Mercedes... ie, not one you wish you had....
I say stay away.
 
I've done business with him. Worst experiance I've had dealing with any BP breeder. The guys no only an idiot but a nut job. He tryed to scam me out of half my BP's and made off with 2 in exchange for a sick mojave male. Which I didn't know was sick until I got home (my fault). It was a breeding arrangment gone wrong. This guys an asshole who thinks he knows everything in the world and always has to get in the last word. He plays childish games and trys to push every button. His wife is actually involved in it too. There scam artist and tweakers. They drive a dark colored mini van and he is hispanic but he has a mix with filipino. His name is Randolf Esteves (35) and his wife is Dora/ Dorrie Wright. They use there daughters name sometimes, Cecilia Esteves. They live at 244 Molision Ave at the Olivewood apartments in El Cajon.
