I ordered a hova bator from Double R Supply two weeks ago on April 6. I was told they were going to ship it that day and that I was promised a guarantee for delivery on Monday, April 12. On Monday, no incubator showed up. I called around 10am, and one of the employees Derek said it might have been backordered and never shipped! But he would have to call the manufacturer to find out and he'd definitely call me back within the hour.
Two and a half hours go by and no call. I call him back and he says he hasn't called the manufacturer yet and to call back in half an hour. I call back, but can never get a line, it's busy for the next hour. I finally get a hold of someone at 4:00pm, Marie, and she said Derek had left for the day. I spoke with her and she said that it has definitely been backordered and was never shipped. She said they found out about the backorder on Tuesday (the day that I had ordered) and someone should have notified me, but no one did! I said I needed the incubator right away, but she said they were 2-4 weeks backordered.
So I said I would order from someone else and to give me a refund. (This was this past Monday). She said she would do it right away. I call Tuesday to find out she did not give me my refund. I even spoke with the owner, Michelle who said she would give me a refund right away, and she didn't either! It took them from Monday night to today (Friday) for them to do my refund, and each night they said "I promise I will do today", and it took 5 days to actually get it done! I just thought all of this was a major hassle and stressor and their customer service wasn't very great (That is, when you actually were able to get through!). I probably won't do business with them again.
