No i do not want or need your money. I never said i had any e-mails. How can i show something i never had? People come on here all the time bashing other people for who knows what reasons jealousy maybe . What possible reason would he have to screw you. Burden of proof is on the accuser. Where are your e-mails you keep talking about.

Ok so last night I went to my old laptop and did a search for that email with no luck...I am going to have a buddy of mine see if he can go to my server and find it. I thought it might have been as easy as just searching my laptop but I guess not.

I would love to find that email because it directly contradicts what Doug has just stated in his post that he sent me back my animal. If I cant find it then I really have no other proof, and that is really too bad

If you are going to save emails in another way, why wouldn't you do it on disk or another external device so they would be retrievable if the computer crashes?

What I'm seeing is some heavy bluster, demanding the same emails that you yourself haven't provided; and, as I suggested before - as the one making the accusations, the burden of proof starts with you.

I didnt remember anything that would prove anything in any emails until Doug came on here and said he sent my animals back, that was just the other day......that reminded me that the last email he ever sent me.....responding to me asking what he thought he was doing sending me eyeless babies and keeping my adult double het...that email stated very clearly that we had done a trade and those babies were for my adult like we had talked about....

That is the only reason I brought up that email...otherwise there is no proof. I think Ive been pretty clear and have tried to be as straight forward and honest as possible. It turns out I might have overstepped saying those emails are easy to find...they arent...at least Im honest about it and keeping up on where I am with finding them.

I have had two laptops and three phones since that email took place so it is not as easy as you think to find it. I did do a search on that old laptop as I still have it and found some emails but for some reason not the last one that would directly contradict what Doug just posted the other day.

When you download an email from an email client on the Mac, it deletes it off the sever is my understanding which is why my friend can also not seem to find it on the server. Believe me I am trying my hardest to find that email...it wouldnt prove anything except that Doug is changing his story. I have a few other things, even looking into some kind of recovery program.... I can keep trying but I am losing hope of finding that email.

So where does that leave us....my word against his....I have come on here and tried to discuss it in an adult manner being as forward as I can...what has Doug and his buddy down the street done? What has been their response? Use some logic here...what is your gut telling you? Is it proof, no...but I believe its pretty clear with his response all these years later kind of says a lot to anyone that would stop and think about it for a minute.

I know this wont satisfy some people on here, and Im ok with that...I just wanted to warn people of what I say i went through...it is up to the individual to decide whether or not to believe me. I wish I could offer you more, and if I find that email believe me I will show it right away...but this is about all I can say on the matter.

Personally, if I was being accused of stealing someone's animals & I honesty didn't, I would keep those emails just in case....no matter how long ago!

Paul, as for the emails you did find about this, as insignificant as something may seem, can change things. Read everything carefully!

Here is the only thing I don't get. Paul was never asked to prove his case. He just posted a story and everyone went with it. But then Doug says that is a lie and everyone is calling Doug a Liar.

I thought the BOI was all about proof. If neither side can prove their story it is just he said she said.

I have known Doug for years. I have never done a breeding loan with him but if the chance came about I would and not even worry about it.

BUT, What I see in this thread is Paul posting a story with nothing more then his word and a lot of people taking it for the bible. Doug posting his side of the story with nothing but his word and a lot of people jumping down his throat. A lot of people like to think of the BOI as our own little reptile court. Well this case would have been thrown out from lack of proof.

I do not know Paul. I do know Doug. But either way I would ask proof of the person accusing...... Then when he proved his case then ask the defendant if they had proof to show otherwise. Without it...... Case dismissed as he said she said.... Sorry but that is the way I see it.

America's judicial system is setup to where the accused is innocent UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY! Doesn't seem like it now a days though. Seems anyone can make accusations without any proof, and the accused is made to prove their innocense. Doesn't seem right to me! Last time I checked, the BOI was set up the same way. Wrongbeach you have shown no proof and are still accusing Doug and even posting on his classified threads. You have given him a negative trader rating. And imo, left a bad taste about him in everyone's mouth. If that was done about me without any proof to the extent that you have, Holy Shit I'd be boiling. IMO you are abusing the BOI by continuing this thread without any PROOF. IMO Doug does not need to show any proof, you do Wrongbeach. Why not stop posting in this thread and on his classified threads until you have proof? Once you do, by all means get him!

Good points, Harald. There have been several statements of forthcoming proof and none shown. Maybe both sides are being slick and if so, I'd personally steer clear of both of them..

HERE HERE. I Have known Jeff Risher for years and has always been totally honest with me. I have several of his animals. I have also dealt with Doug. I wanted an animal that Doug had and he quickly priced it way low when I asked about it. I jumped right on it. He soon found out he quoted me a low price but told me a deal is a deal. And laughed it off.
I find the "he said she said" sometimes hard to swallow. If I'm doing a breeder loan with an expensive animal, something is in writing.. and if I got ripped off.. something is done immediately.. not finger pointing, actual something.. IMO

Thanks Nick, that killed me! I do see both sides here unfortunately. I think if you are going to write a BOI, with how the BOI is now a days, I don't know why you would even try without evidence. Though even then if I really, honestly, DID get ripped off, but I had deleted or lost my evidence I still couldn't just write it off :/. I am a very honest, fair, person so I hate being ripped off as much as the next....

I don't know why Doug wouldn't make more of an effort either? That is odd to me. I think Nick was right in that sense. This whole thing is messy.

Neither of us have proof that it did or did not happen. That is why proof is needed. See my point? Without proof anyone can say anything. So if I blame you for such thing it would be your job to prove me wrong? I thought you had to be proven guilty?

Really. People took this story as the bible.... without proof. I think we all sit back until Paul can prove his side. Not sit here give a story and say prove me wrong.
