    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

He I have four dragons housed together in a 6ft cage and one of the females is always hiding under the newspaper. Sometimes I take her out because she will stay under all day sometimes or she will peak out and come out on her own but I usually take her out when I feed them. She will eat Dubia and Greens without problem but the others don't do this at all and if they have they never stay under the paper for more than an hour. Does anyone think something is wrong or is this dragon just different than the others. All dragons get along fine, no visual aggression at all between the 4.
 
sounds like a little bit of domination going on. you may not see it, but why else would she be hiding under the newspapers? Is she growing at the same rate as the others?

Also, are these 4 adults, babies, juvies, what? Maybe she is going into brumation?

I once had 2 females together, one would always hide under the newspapers. She would eat but she just didnt grow at the same rate as the other one. I took her out and she caught right up.

Maybe you should just take her out of the cage with the others and see how she reacts on her own or maybe with just one other dragon.

If she's an older girl, she could be trying to cool herself down. My dragons take turns hiding under the paper throughout the year.

John makes a good point too. I have dragons that will only let certain dragons live with them.

I have an old girl 5 actually, she sleeps all say for a days at time under the newspaper, but she still eats every other day like all of my adults. She got this way after her last clutch about 2 years ago?? So she is fine
