    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Dragons and Tails

Saddest part is there is someone on the classifieds that is about ready to make the same mistakes by selling to small of dragons, but what can you do except warn these people. I am very sorry that all of the dragons passed and you never received compensation for the vet bills or a refund. Just sad.

This is an Original message sent from a person wo wants to remain anonymous. They simply sent me a link to Brenda's profile, which I will not be attaching due to Fauna Rules. However, she is pregnan, and it does say on her profile that she is only 17 (which makes sense of the carlessness, greed and pure disrespect towards everyone) All I cn say is some people's children and some Children's parents...anyways, here is the message that was sent to me:

I read all 24 pages of the dragon and tails thread. And I did some searching and found the girl....she's young, REALLY young(I'm young too, but I'm not an immature, dishonest *****). One part of her profile says she's 20, but then a part where she writes about herself she says she's 17....idk. But she is in fact pregnant (a lot of her friends are talking to her about it). I'll send you a link to her profile so you can read everything on it and see pictures. There are no words to describe how worthless she is.You're an amazing person for putting so much time into those poor little babies. I wish there were more people like you.

I would let it go, if it were me.:eek:

You have already had people offering to GIVE you dragons. IMO, if you were to continuing to pursue this, it wouldn't look very good.

But of course, you must do as you think best.
 
How would it not look good?? if i were in your place i would inform the parents of there daughters crappy business dealings ,otherwise she may continue with such things .
 
I simply want to inform her parents of her doings n her bad business n neglect to care for her animals properly. This is before a few other people lose almost $500 or more! I'm over not getting my refund back which she stated she would give. It's just water under the bridge now...as for those who are donating they are great people with huge hearts!

Informing parents is one thing. I read it as she would be requesting her money back. If I misunderstood then my apologies.

Possibly they do and dont care, sorry Yes i did mention at first that I should try and get the money back, it's just extremely frustrating to lose $500 on mere hatchlings...I could have spent the $500 and gotten 5 extremely healthy and well started dragons...but i got 4 hatchlings one was dead within 17 hours and the other two followed within a 2 week time span...Vet said that their livers failed more than likely due to the extreme heat...as it was 97 degrees here in Ft. Hood Texas the day they arrived. due to the fact that she is only 17 she is still a minor in the state of California, she is claiming to also have sugargliders, which are illegal in the state of Califoria without proper licensing, I have a friend rporting her to local authorities later this week when he gets home from his business trip.

You are a great person to deal with and I am shocked at the tone of this threat.

This woman has ALWAYS had every animal packed very professionally for shipping. I have never had any problems with her shipping, or animal prep for shipping ANY of the times I have ordered from her. Nor does she add heat packs during the summer. Unless there is a specified length of time guarantee, we all know we are taking the "Live arrival" 24 hour guarantee.

I've had nothing but the best experiences with this seller. You don't contact someone 2 days later if something died the day you got it. Also, it is very important to ask a seller WHAT their guarantee policy is BEFORE you buy. Every animal I have purchased arrived in beautiful, healthy, condition. I think there is some exaggerating about the condition of these babies, and it's not really fair. Nor is it fair for people who have never seen her animals, and the way they are packed, or how they look on arrival to judge her like this.

She even goes so far as to make sure she bathes them before shipping to encourage them to empty themselves so they will not defecate during transit-another best shipping practice. She is not a fly by night idiot out to make a quick buck and rip off people.

So mailing beardies way to young and contributing to there death by doing so. Also her offering a refund and never come through with her offer makes her a great business person.. :rolleyes:
Also I would never deal with anyone that breaks the law by keeping and selling animals prohibited in her state. I am glad you had a good experience but after reading this thread I don't think it would of went so smooth if there was a problem.

I have seen the pictures of the babies post #64 so its hard for to to think it was exaggerated after seeing them. IMHO
 
Well glad you had a wonderful experience with Brenda, but I know she was wrong n out of her mind to charge $100 a baby for 3-4 week old dragons! One still hadn't absorbed it's yolk sac. I also was never refunded nor did I falsely accuse her of anything, I proved my point with evidence!! As far as the shipping, I shouldn't taken pics of the box n contents, lessoned learned! As for me contacting her 2 days later, I didn't, I texted her phone same morning only apparently her phone wasn't working and she hadn't called or texted to tell me so, hence when I sent out the email! You should really know some facts and have read this ENTIRE post before posting such accusations. Have a wonderful day n great that your experience was good, mine was horrid!

You haven't actually lost it, unless I am mistaken, you are getting free dragons (top notch dragons) so just switch perspectives and consider that you paid for these which are better quality ;)

*this is not to reduce the thought behind the gift, but to point out, because of the gift, you haven't actually "lost" anything.
 
Still havent recieved a refund or any contact from her. Hope no one else is getting on the wrong ends of her deals, just wanted to reitterate this thread, and let people see what has gone on...update: all my other beardies are doing great! Thanks for those with kind hearts and for the ones who have sharked this thread, added opinions, and information and made it what it is. i thank everyone for helping me show the strength of the reptile community and the horrid truth of this sale.
