In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thanks guys

Dragon's Den

Hi Sara,
I didn't see anything on Kingsnake for Dragon's Den VT but I was under Bearded Dragons where were you looking? Dragon's Den in San Diego, CA is Kevin D. he is a great gut with very nice Dragon's I would Highly recommend him.

Hope this helps.

Jon

Hey sara,

You know I saw that ad a few minutes ago, and was about to email them and tell them to send me prices and pics. lol.

I declined in doing so, because I was a bit weary myself. They have a couple ads on kingsnake.

Can anyone figure out the IP address of that user, from kingsnake? Then we can compare it to the IP address of those people who have scammed in the past.

The only Dragon's Den I've ever heard of was Kevin Dunne, out in CA. And Kevin is a great guy; however, i'm not sure about this person in VT...

Yeah, I have a dragon from Kevin Dunne so I knew they were not related. I just asked because I inquired about several dragons and asked for pictures several times but they said the pictures were too big to send and then changed the price from $450 on one dragon to $600 when referring to her later. Then they said they messed up and the picture on their ad wasn't really "Butterscotch" but a different dragon. Just really confusing lol

Yeah that is a bit confusing.

Either way, just be cautious. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I always say better to be safe than sorry. If something sounds really fishy, then I usually leave it alone.

Well I'm just not going to buy from them lol. I'm too confused anyways. here:

Yeah that's usually the case that something fishy is going on. It's not hard to get your facts straight and pictures uploaded. In my case I actually replaced my domain name/s because someone here had something really close to what I already owned and I did not want to appear to have stolen an identity and or want someone elses reputation good or bad.

Hey Sara,

Did you ask them to take any pics with your name on a sheet of paper in the background?

If they can't do that for you, then I would be skeptical. That's not to say that they are bad people, but once again.. better safe than sorry. Especially if you are spending big bucks.

I just noticed that they are a member of Draggintails and have been a member since Aug 2009. But I would still be very cautious...

Yep, I noticed that too after running a google search.

Hey, Sara... maybe you could ask the draggintails person if they have ever done business with them? Could possibly yield some important results. :)

They said they can't send any pictures because they are too big and their computer won't let them shrink them. Lol so nevermind.

I just had a very similar interaction with them...im not biting...they may be just fine, but lack of info and them saying they have 25 adult dragons ready to go but cant send pics makes me turn on my heels pretty fast. If anyone knows differently however, feel free to clear things up!

Same here. Their grammar was horrible and they weren't answering my questions in the e-mails very well. They just seemed like they kept changing info on me and getting dragons mixed up.
