    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Has anyone ever dealt with Drago's Den? Im thinking about doing a trade with them. Their website is www.dragosden.com it seems like they are trying to be like the popular crested breeders Dragon's Den. Im kind of worried, anyone know anything?
 
Well, a little more than one year after the initial post, I make the same iquiry. Anyone ever dealt with this person, if so what were the results? Thanks

Great people. You couldn't ask for a better reputation. I don't think they sell too much over here, you may be better off asking in the bearded dragon forum over on KS.

I adopted a Leopard Gecko from him a few months back. I was told it was eating and doing well. When I got it it was in an uninsulated box, no heat packs and the gecko was in a deli container with butcher paper. Needless to say she arrived cold as ice and the butcher paper pinched her tail off. She was also thin to the point of extreme emaciation, not the look of a Leo that was "eating". She was euthanized a week later on the advice by my Vet.

I contacted Carlos numerous times by phone, no response. The phone number on his site is actually the number for a consulting firm or something he works at. I finally contacted Carlos by e-mail and told him how displeased I was and about the horrendous condition of the gecko and the shipping job. He finally agreed to give me 90% of my money back.

I also have contacted Carlos recently about a trade. He would not guarantee the animals, except for live arrival. The animals in question are supposed "captive bred" and very healthy. Why no guarantee then? I include a 7 day health guarantee on all my animals and only wanted the same in return. He said no stating that he could not tell how the animals are cared for after arrival.

After my two experiences with Carlos and Drago's Den I will not do any business with him again. Both experiences have left me mighty suspicious and I would recommend anyone interested to look else where for animals.

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything from them. I have had 3 or 4 people call me, upset with animals they purchased from "Dragos Den", thinking they had actually purchased them from me (Dragon's Den Herpetoculture). It is pretty obvious to me that Drago's Den is trying to trick people into thinking they are someone else. It really pisses me off that they make no effort to let people know they are not affilliated with the original Dragon's Den Herpetoculture, but instead appear to be trading on my reputation. I have an attourney researching this at present. If anyone is ever uncertain about whom they are purchasing from, please call me at 310 970 1393 and I will set you straight. It should be obvious to most people that Drago's Den is doing this in an attempt to dupe unsuspecting customers. After all, why would anybody buy anything from a person who has to use somebody else's reptutation in order to establish their own business? Kevin Dunne,

Wooops, sorry I thought they were talking about you Dragons Den I've never heard of Dragos Den. I guess it's an optical thing I honestly read it DragoNs Den.
