    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Drastic post-shed color change

My young adult eastern male was always an unusual color but since his last shed his color changed drastically. He was a medium reddish brown with high yellow sides, now where he was yellow he is a pinkish caramel color. Is it common for them to change colors after they are already grown?

Pretty garter!

I've got a western terrestrial. He was kind of an olive color when I caught him. I think that he was about 6-9 months old. When he hit the year mark, he picked up a lot of orangy color on the sides and some orange spotting on the belly. If my initial age estimate was right, he's about a year and a half old now, his color still seems to be changing but at a slower rate.
