    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I think this is probably the one where they try to send you a "certified bank check" for more than the amount and ask you to send a little back to them along with the animal. By the time your bank realizes the check is a fake, the scammer is long gone with your money.
 
You may be right. I will keep a close eye on this one. It sounds like a scam if he is doing the same thing to all of us. He better be careful. :NoNo:

I got 3 Emails for 3 different ads I have asking "is this pet still available?" at the same time from Dr Octavia Eugene. You mean he isn't going to buy all of our snakes? aw.
 
Hello, Warning this definitely looks like a scam. Beware all. Just think of how many people are going to be scammed by this guy. It makes me sick. I have attached below what he sent me last night. It all sounds way to fishy! :angry:

thanks for the message.What i was trying to explian to you is,i had tried that similar method of shipping exotic pets like this in a box and it didnt turn out fine cause there were some delays with the courier service.it went real bad by the time the package got here.that is why i make use of pet movers.they are very expensive and sometimes cost more than the pet itself but they are better.they will handle the pet for some days and tell you its features, what it likes and what it doesnt and probably if they are suitable for kids or not.Now tell me,paying that much to secure your life dont sound good to you?Moreover, i will be out on an assigment so that by time i get back they would have the result ready for me so they will be delievering to my place.Also, i will be including the movers fee to the initial amount i would be sending to you cause i do not want a ny delays from any side since the pickup would be subjected to the check clearing on your side.so why not send the whole funds to you, wait till it clears then get the movers fee to them so that they can come for the pickup.i hope i can count on you to handle this deligently.

Here's the response I received from him:

"Hi there chuck,they are being shipped to missouri.also i have had a very bad experience with one some time back to actually striked at point of delievery via fedex cause it was feeling so angry by the time the box was opened.This movers i am making use of are experts in exotic pets like this plus i would be out of town on an assignment so they would be handling the feeding and other things till i get back.All you do aftre check is recieved and cleared is to deduct the mover fee and get it across to them and you get the snake ready for shipment and they will come for it at any point you want them too since you are not feeling too comfortable with your address.pls give me your full name, address,phone number so that i can ensure your check gets sent asap."

Almost makes me want to box up a rubber snake & turn the check over to officials...guess there's no need to dance w/ the devil.

That's great. This guy is taking the time out of his day to personalize his responses after a couple of Emails. It seems like a lot of work for Dr Oc. I guess the best thing to do is give him fake addresses and phone numbers and let him tire himself out.

Yep, because while we're keeping him busy, that's that many more people he's not scamming. I love running them around in circles and wasting their time.

Unfortunately a bunch of people will get scammed by this guy. Just think of all the people not viewing the BOI. I almost want to accept the certified bank check and once he gives me the address where the extra money goes, turn him into the authorities. These kind of people give those of us that utilize internet sales and purchasing a bad name. I have been scammed for over $2,000 over the years. Now I'm very weary of scum like this. Good luck everyone. We should spread the news to all friends in the industry to limit this guys scamming success. Take care!!

You got to be a moron if u fall for this guy. I get these emails from time to time, just hit delete and move on.
