And a copy of his email telling me he is out 310 dollars on a free snake I sent him. And he even lies in his email as he sold the snake to his friend Scott.



Dan, I don't know where we stand on this. I bought from you thinking you where a reputable dealer and the snakes where in good shape. This hole thing has been a nightmare. If this Frenata dies I will be out 310 plus the 75 on the egg eater. I will not settle for that. Please let me know what we can do about this. I am willing to ship the Frenata back for a refund or try and hold on to it and hope it survives, but if it dosn't, what can be done? I am a breeder and I have never had a snake die from eating while in shed. expecially to think that a small finch egg liquid going down a snake would be called a lump?? they do not take the egg all the way down. Please let me know what we can work out, Thanks Andy

I can see Dan thinking your were requesting that amount by the wording of your e-mail as you do mention the dollar amount for each snake.

If you did not request the $200 then perhaps you could post a screenshot of the paypal request you did send.

I just looked at my paypal claim and for some reason it is automaticly asking for the full 200 refund. I am sorry about that Dan. I have contacted paypal to see how I can change that amount to 75. I did not realize it did that and I am truly sorry! Andy

What gives with your having your friend calling me a month later and trying to threaten to take this issue to fauna if I don't pay you 300 dollars? That is called extortion and it is against the law. How dare you or your friend allude to threaten anyone? You need a swift kick in your arss is all. Who do you think you are to threaten anyone even if via your friend Scott? That snake was wild caught and the guarantee expired the day you got it and reported to me that it was in good health and condition. You want to call me a month afterward and threaten or bully for 300 dollars on a free snake? You are wacko. Are you disregarding the fact that I know you were present with Scott when he made those threats? I spoke to you a second later, so know you were listening in on the conversation.

For all I know, you were offering those california snakes and wanted me to send you money and then were going to scam me out of that deal. I went along for the fun, but knew better my friend. Much less, I checked with the law afterward and found out that your offer was illegal and you could have gotten us both in trouble with the law if I did not check. Andrew - The timeline Dan sets forth seems different than the one you described.
Can either of you post proof of purchase/shipping dates (emails sent upon receipt of the animals would work, as would tracking numbers, etc).

Much as I almost hate to say it, Andrew hasn't disputed Dan's version of things.
Did the frenata arrive in good condition? or was it blistered as you initially claimed. Any chance you took pics?

If the frenata was shipped as compensation for snakes that died, I understand your argument that it wasn't free.....BUT, if those snakes died outside the coverage of the guarantee, and Dan replaced them anyway, I can also see his side of that one.
Further, YOU sold that snake to your friend...WTF do you have him calling Dan for? Especially if the timeline Dan laid out is correct.
I think I might have a fever...I feel very warm, and I'm actually leaning toward Dan's side on this one. I think I need some Tylenol.

I received the phone call October 1st from Scott threatening that he wanted 300 dollars for the free frenata I gave Andy or he would take this issue to the BOI. Extortion - plain and simple. I did not know Scott or sell the snake to Scott nor was the frenata in compensation for the candoia that were reported to arrive alive and healthy. I was just being nice with the deal and sorta offering them with the egg eaters with consideration and trust that the candoia passed on the fellow months later. I do not believe him now and if they did die, then why did he not take photographs and send them to me when they died months later like he claimed? And I never was even shown any proof nor was notified if or when they were indeed ill or anything to the matter. When I told Scott I gave the frenata to Andy for free there was a dead silence and Scott apologized and we ended our conversation and he handed the phone to Andy who seemed quite embarassed that Scott was aware of the facts behind it all. I had no reason to speak to Andy but Scott threw him the phone. It seemed like a fight was going on there.

I don't have the emails back when I sent the tracking numbers with the care sheet for the frenata. I might be able to gather them as my AOL went to pot and when I uploaded a new version I only got a months worth of backup sent emails.

Why do you need tylenol? Do you think that brat kid deserved another skink? Well I offered him one and he threatened and harassed for more than he was entitled to and ended up with nada. Did you waste 20 emails telling him to not force feed the skink pinkies when it was reported by the kid himself that the skink was eating snails on its own? Do you think the strangled boa guy was entitled to a refund? He got the refund the same day the snake arrived plus 25 dollars for his troubles to keep him as a good customer and he reports his other snakes he got from me in the same bag are thriving and bone heads here think it was a disease. Do you think the viper boa dude who burned his snakes was entitled to another 2? Well despite that he killed them, I offered 2 more for 12 bucks each. Skip the tylenol and send it here as I need it for being so kind. And if anyone has a legitimate complaint, I would be glad to converse over it. But as always, if someone asks a stupid or insulting question, I will respond with a stupid and insulting answer.

And yes, you hit on something there. If that snake arrived with blisters, he would have reported it and his friend would not have bought it. Either case, that species is very delicate and if it soaks for a day in a box, it's doomed. I kept them in 10 gallon tanks and a small heavy water bowl they could not fit into and passed this vital care information onto Andy. A month later he said it got some blisters and puked. They were here a year and none ever puked and they were great snakes dear to my heart and they bred for me here.

I might add that when Scott first called he said the snake puked and was strong behind his words that he never fed it. After I called him back, he admitted he fed it. So who's to know what's to believe from the california boys. They seem like scammers to me, not customers I would want in my future.

I'll be honest with you - I rarely follow your threads, because I think you act like an ass & I don't have an interest in all the back and forth.
While I have dealt with a lot of WC animals, and know what to expect, many do not....just like I understand that you can't follow the generic snake plan and expect to be successful with every kind of snake (or lizard). You may well have a very good sales record, and outstanding customer service...all I have to go by is your behavior here. Yes, there are some people that have said good things...but your own responses speak louder. People complain about getting crap or animals dying, and there's that jerk Dan again - posting and boasting. I think there have been legitimate complaints, but your pride and attitude won't let you acknowledge them...and the fact that you keep posting about the thousands of sales without one legitimate complaint - right in the face of those complaining about you - just grates on the nerves of everybody that reads it.

Perhaps if you toned down the BS and sarcasm a bit, and just stated your case & provided your proof, people would respond differently to you...and then you wouldn't have to start knocking the people and the site every time there is a complaint about you.

Or maybe my fever is higher than I thought; and I not only need to take a few Tylenol, I should call in tonite as well. 3 more hours...piece of cake.

Sorry, but you are the butt for commenting without reading the threads and/or perhaps asking about them or calling me. My comments were intentionally designed to be stupid and frustrating towards the nasty poster as they were nasty and asked stupid questions intending to insult my intelligence. Grasp that and you will understand why I comment the way I do and my comments are projected to the boobs that attacked, not the general public or reader. Ya gotta separate yourself from taking it personal as that is a sign of maturity and no offense meant.

I've never had a bad deal but had 3-4 sales with people who tried to scam and bully me into something that was not part of the transaction. They are not customers, they are scammers. There is a difference so when someone tries to rob me for more than the deal and you call them a customer, I object to that. They are not customers, they are scamming to rob me for something they are not entitled for. And all because someone starts a thread or boasts some bogus complaint, does not make it legit.

And despite I have proven all of the nasty idiots wrong, I've been quite reserved and quite nice in my responses to low lifes who can only throw terms like scumbag and hide and never provide any proof of their false accussations. And I've furthermore accurately described some nasty posters as idiots so did them a favor as I see it because someone needed to say it to them to shut them up. Kindness did not work, so call them an idiot and they tuck their tails and run. Then their idiot friends attack me later and I kick their butts also. They run when they are challenged with proving any proof I lied or had any sad part of any transaction. They are sissy marys is all. Loud mouth boobs who have no place in the reptile business nor any part of this wonderful hobby with beautiful animals and beautiful people who work VERY HARD at it. But there are some good people here and they need to be paid vice pay to be here because this is a nut house, and no disrespect meant to the intention of the board or any particular member (well chuck is a nut).

And yes, not a single legitimate complaint. If you think any bogus comment about any transaction was legit then bring it up and lets discuss it. In any and all deals I offered the scammer something in addition to the purchase which was ABOVE and BEYOND the terms of sale. If the offer was well above the terms, then the complain is BOGUS and NOT LEGIT. And you know that and any dodge to dismiss that fact puts you or anyone else in the same boat with the scammer as far as I am concerned. No offense meant, but if someone gets their animals under the terms of sale and then you attack me, you are preceived as part of the problem, not the solution. Not that proper discussion is appreciated from many. If you join sides with a scammer, then you are birds of a feather so to speak in my eyes. If you disagree, then look back at the kid I offered a skink, the fellow I refunded for the boa, or the other scammer who cooked his viper boas. They all had only live arrival guarantees and I offered and gave them more than the terms of the sale. And are you discounting 2 of those 3 bogus complainers were discovered claiming sick and dead reptiles on other dealers? Hum? Did you do your homework before making any comment or throwing any insult? Who is looking like the ass now? Did you read the thread where the fellow with the boa blew a gasket when someone tried to contact the lab to see if the lab report was on the snake I shipped? Why blow a gasket if there is nothing to hide? Hum? Did you review the fact that the date on the labe report did not jive with the ship date since the snake lived 2 weeks? Hum? Why did no one here ask me where I got the snake as it was from someone who reads these reports every hour and is here daily? If anyone really cared about any disease, some boob would have gathered the wisdom to ask. But no one even cared to ask who the boa came from. They all wanted to nail Dan because Dan proved them as boobs before and their intention is not the facts and accessment, their intention is revenge for proving them wrong before. Simple as pie.

Do you homework and come back with an accountable reply and then we can speak on a better level.

Half these losers commenting never sold or bough more than half a dozen reptiles in their lives but they pretend to be experts to comment in a field they are fun to be in a hobby, but don't have sufficient credentials to be passing judgement on a one-sided version of events when they themselves are full of horse crap with their nasty scum bag comments. I mean if someone uses a nasty comment like that, they should be banned for good and never allowed back. End of story for anyone who comes from the gutter to use such language. Warnings? No. Kick them off for good and forever and class up this join to some people with experience and tact can come here and help with real situations.

And I don't care if any type of advertisement keeps away the bogus scammers who follow these threads or forms. Nothing said here will ever stop anyone's business and those are the facts and some boobs here feel like they have some influence and power over someone's business, and they cannot even tie their shoes right yet.

The way I see it, if some scammer is wishing to pull some crap on a sale and see's how I won't stand for it and avoids me, then the better for me even if it makes me look nuts. I like my good customers and don't need scammers trying to pull crap, so any type of advertisement, good or bad, is always good for business. Heck, last week I had the best week ever of sales and a few buyers commented they were glad I stuck up for myself on these threads. So bad is good for Danny Boy.

As to your comments about nasty people responding to me. I have seen these same nasty people responding disrespectfully towards other dealers for years and nothing is done to quell their nasty tempers and hag attitudes. I have been nice to them in the past and they don't deserve to be treated nice anymore.

They need to be flushed out of this wonderful hobby.
