Just from reading all this mess on here, and the sudden influx of new people posting "DTS is AWESOME" which are obviously plants or fakes, I can assure everyone I won't be looking to purchase from Dan. Not worth the risk for me.

I am new to this site (so go ahead and have a go at me it it pleases you, Dan). It is not my intention to bash Dan, but I think someone needs a reality check. I have met Dan at Tom Crutchfields home, but we did not speak to each other. I have read a lot of the posts about Dan, and his child-like replies, in which everyone is stupid, scammer, thief, moron, idiot, etc. etc., and he is never wrong in anything he does. He claims that this site has not cost him any business. That simply is not true! I have and NEVER will do business with anyone who acts like he does on this site. Maybe some of the posters here can not PROVE beyond a reasonable doubt that Dan ripped them off, but I have formed my opinion based on the majority of posters and Dan's child-like response to them. I am a state law enforcement officer, and we see this attitude of Dan's in many of the criminals we put behind bars. In post #1271 of the thread "DAN SCOLARO BAD GUY" Dan states " but never any sale in thousands where I did not achieve customer satisfaction." How can he say that when there are currently 255 pages of people complaining about him and transactions they have had with him. That sounds like he missed his mark on achieving customer satisfaction by a long mark. I have spoken with numerous people who will not do business with him because of what they read here on the BOI (mad props to FaunaClassifieds). So he is wrong, this site does cost him a lot of business, but he just does not realize it. And if he was doing so well financially (as he claims) why does he owe so many people so much money (including Mr. Crutchfield)???? Close friends of mine that know him better than I do (including two other dealers that he does regular business with) claim that Dan owes them money, and collecting money from him is like pulling teeth. He tells them that his business is doing poorly and he does not have the money to pay, and that he is waiting for checks from people etc. Dan claims to be a former federal officer (or whatever), but the reality is he is retired from the Navy. So technically he is correct, but the way he puts it one may think he was an FBI agent or something. The point of all this rambling is that if he treats his customers as poorly as he treats people on this site, who would want to become a new customer of his? I am not about to take the risk of buying animals from him after seeing so many complaints (whether or not they can be proved beyond all doubt), and seeing how he responds like a little boy. He is quick to call everyone names and infer that they are little kids etc., but even my two sons (10 & 12) don't talk as childishly to each other as Dan does to people here. To me, if 10 people make a similar claim against someone, and they all get the same response (called scammers, kids, idiots, etc.) I am inclined to believe the ten over someone that rants and raves like a child. As an (ACTUAL) officer, we are constantly being trained in professionalism. That is something Dan lacks. If he were really a federal officer for any period of time, some professionalism would still be intact, and it clearly is not. Dan, you may want to invest in a spell checker and a program to correct your first grade grammar. This can help you look like you are not really six years old. Dan, the whole world can not always be wrong, and you be right. There is nothing wrong with admitting that you are still human, and make mistakes.

I'm done now, so go ahead and start calling me names too. I assure you it will not bother me or bring me to your level. Nor will it ever change the fact that your struggling business will never receive a penny from me and the many people I know in this hobby.

As they say Dan, it takes one to know one. You sold Andrew animals that did not survive longer than a week. You guarantee healthy animals, but that is only until they die. How many customers do you have that had animals die shortly after arrival? It seems to be a repeating theme of yours.

You're not a state law enforcement officer. A law enforcement officer would not be dumb enough to use list his position in government to make false accusations and risk loosing his job or receive administrative punishment. I do not believe this post is from anyone named "William Blymer".

Regardless, that blither is trash talk. I've never met or know of anyone named William Blymer and have checked around, and I do not owe anyone a single penny. And business is fine and I get sales from these posts so keep them coming. Why not use your mouth smartly and show in any bogus complaint where I did not meet or exceed the terms of the sale? Of course you can't. A few scammers tried to threaten and bully for more than the terms of sale, and their nasty tactics proved to be their downfall. And the morons who attacked for dozens of pages all awhile ignoring the fact that the terms of sale were met proved to have wasted their time as they tucked tail. The only thing that was proven was that I went above and beyond the terms of service to offer scammers something before their bogus claim escalated to the BOI. I see also that you did not read any of the threads but boast how proud you are my defeating many idiots who threw many false accusations based on guess work and reports never linked to any reptile I sold or bought.

If you are indeed who you say you are, then unless you can provide any shred of any evidence surrounding your idiotic and false accusations, then you are simply just another boob who received a typical whipping for spewing nonsense and never providing any evidence. And any threat to not buy is a joke at best. Check with my references at the Atlanta and St. Louis Zoo and many other fine educational institutions and the thousands of fine sales I've had. I just wanted to set the record straight here (since the person that told him that would not allow himself to be revealed, thereby giving me the fair opportunity to confront him one-on-one). 'MambaKeeper' and I are NOT one in the same. A check of ISP will verify that. I do not have any unresolved issues with Dan, and he does not owe me or ERJ any money. In fact, Dan will attest that it is I that keeps telling him to stop engaging in pissing contests with people on the BOI. Admittedly, I share some of the views that ‘MambaKeeper’ addressed (ie – maintaining professionalism, use of proper grammar, and so on) but many people have expressed those same issues to Dan. The difference is that I talk to him on a one on one basis about it instead of posting it on public forums. We all have made mistakes in this business, but making our customer happy in the end should be our ultimate goal. It is my hope that the person that is filling Dan's head with this inaccurate theory will read this and request the good people that run this site to compare ISP addresses of "MambaKeeper" and I, instead of falsely dragging uninvolved people into this mess.

To add.. The time span between the two of you using the same is that you had the same back on August 18 when you posted an ad. "CURRENT VENOMOUS INVENTORY & PRICES" It hasn't been the same since and doesn't appear to be the same before.
