I have not bred any of my leos before but am planning to breed at least 1 pair tomorrow so bear with me...... (None of my leos have ever been bred before either)
First of all, does it make a difference when during the day/night a pair are introduced?
My 2nd question is whether or not it is safe to breed a female that is overweight? She is almost a year old. from nose to vent she is 4 1/2" long and 9" from end to end. She weighs 87 grams. Her tail is nearly as big around as her body ! Her clutchmate is 1/2" shorter and only weighs in at 57 grams. If you think there's any chance of something happening if I breed her at this size please let me know as I don't want to harm her.
Thanks for your input. I know these may be silly questions but I'm just learning and don't want to take any chances with my "kids".
