Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Those that i have made reparations with i am no longer in contact with nor can i remember as that was close to 2-3 years ago...and it was quite a few. So there is no way possible i can name them.
 
Interesting, I don't recall seeing any posts to that effect; and I would think that people would have updated with news like that.
Anyway, that's one item of the three that I suggested. Will you address the other two?
 
All I am able to do is the best I can. And here recently i was not trying to rip anyone off. It may have seemed that way, but that is not the case.

If it's happened repeatedly in the past. And seems that way this time. Then from most people's perspective, it IS that way again. Sorry, that's just how the cookie crumbles.
 
If you paid people back you should have a record of it. Surely you didn't pay them cash... I can access my bank records, paypal and credit card statements from 3+ years ago. I understand it's extra work but if your serious about what you say you should have no problem putting some effort into it. To me you sound like my 12 year old, making dumb excuses to get out of making any effort at all and saying whatever you think others want to hear to manipulate the situation to get what you want. If your really a recovering addict like you claim you should have learned in your groups how to mend relationships that you destroyed, we shouldn't have to walk you through it. Asking others how to do it just makes it look like you aren't genuine at all!
 
Crap - I just realized I made an error in one of my earlier posts...I posted the wrong name when I mentioned being contacted by somebody that had purchased, but not yet received the retics. Unfortunately, I've since purged my mailboxes, so it will take some digging to figure out the correct name. :blush:
I couldn't help but notice that there was no denial, though. Most people, if wrongly accused of something like that, would have been proclaiming their innocence.
I'll try to sort out who it was when I get back online.

Putting up a pity party BOI thread because adulting is hard and facing consequences for your actions is difficult is not an act of humility.

I think it's fairly clear that not much is being accomplished in this BOI thread.

Dustin, if you are truly turning over a new leaf, like others have said before, actions speak far louder than words. Obviously, anyone reading the multiple threads about you will likely not purchase animals from you. Therefore, the only thing you can really do is work up at least a positive buying reputation, if you can find people to sell to you.

At this point, the only thing you can do to redeem yourself is to document absolute everything. Get a website, a blog, a Facebook page, a dedicated thread here, whatever. Every time you do business or decide to get into a project, you have to post the information way ahead of time. Create a timeline of transactions and post proof of those transactions.

With your reputation so badly tarnished, really the only thing you can do at this point is make amends to those you wronged. Some of those wrongdoings may have occurred a while ago, but there is proof of at least some of those wrongdoings here on the BOI.

I think you should start a thread asking for the people whom you have wronged to come forward and list what is owed. Once you get that list, make a PUBLICIZED plan to right those wrongs. Follow through with the plan (even if it takes a few years), and then we'll revisit this redemption thread to see if you're really interested in doing this the hard, but right way.

Again, the monitors. Whats up with that? I haven't read much of ANY explanation as to what your excuse/reasoning was. I never did business with you, Dustin, but if what these people are saying is true, then why, suddenly, after being caught scamming again, have you not denied this accusation or apologized for it? I've been following this thread the past few days, and all you've done to repent for what happened is say "I apologized to people already, and refunded money, but I can't prove it."

I'm not trying to attack you Dustin, I'm just not seeing the whole 180 from your previous schemes.
 
Again. I did NOT try to scam anyone on the monitors. The ad was to draw in monitor keepers to try to get info on the whereabouts of stolen monitors. There was none actually for sale. No money was ever collected on a sale. And none was going to be collected. So leave it alone.

So how were the texts to John telling him to go to Western Union and sending pics of supposedly boxed monitors supposed to do that?
 
Simple. Sitting at my house trying to give him a reason to continue talking to me. We know the same people which means he may have known the person who stole them. Plus as everyone knows, i was using a fake name on a bogus account that was being used to hopefully track down said robbers...which means i couldnt have even collected the money even if hebdid send it. So this whole questioning about the monitors is absolutely pointless. Because theres no meat on this bone to argue over.
 
Tikigator..Its interesting how tikigator did not post that the money was returned to her. The money order was mailed to her fathers address due to not being able to contact her, which she cashed. Hmmmm

I disagree, everything that was in that text suggested that you were attempting to goad him into sending money (other buyers, him wasting your time). Also it is not unheard of for someone to use a fake ID at WU so that is what I believe you were going to do if he actually sent the funds.
