Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You kept trying to get me to wire money. Once you became aware of the picture I posted on your for sale ad you changed your story because you knew the gig was up.

I suspected that your ad was a scam the minute it was posted. You were selling lace monitors for a fraction of their value. I figured that maybe you were Berle trying to unload the lace monitors that he stole through a breeding loan. Once you confirmed that you were friends with Berle I knew you were up to no good.

According to Berle, he had no lace monitors to steal. They didn't exist??? I've suspected all along that he did in fact hatch lace monitors and didn't honor the terms of his breeding loan. He was stupid enough to send a few people who I know pictures of his hatchlings. See why I figured you were trying to dump the monitors he stole? And that's why the price was so low? That's the only reason that I contacted you and played along.

You say that there's a police report but I know that this too is a lie. There's a reason that a police report doesn't exist. First of all, you don't have any bells lace monitors. You've never had any which is why you can not produce pictures or a police report. You were doing Berle's dirty work. If Berle's monitors were in fact stolen, and I find this hard to believe, he should post a police report. Or, was he afraid to get the police involved? If so, why?

I'm going to post our entire text string. I lost count of the number of times that you lied even when confronted with facts. Once the BOI was posted you tried to cover your butt. But, it was too late.

You struggle with the truth and take advantage of people. This hobby has enough challenges without people like you making things worse.

Except your explanation makes no sense, especially since it is pretty obvious that you were trying to scam $5500 bucks out of him. You didn't start pretending that you were fishing for information until he made your actions public in the other thread.
 
But Dustin, you never actually addressed the questions he was asking. You gave him THREE separate names, and didn't admit to being yourself until he called you out on it. You wanted him to send money via Western Union and tried to pressure him into doing so by applying all sorts of pressure on him (e.g. traveling a long distance, having the animals already boxed up, then waiting at the office, etc.). These are all classic scamming 101 ploys.

You have to answer these questions.
1. Do you currently have or ever actually had lace monitors?
2. Did you get those lace monitors from Berle?
3. If you didn't get those lace monitors from Berle, who did you get them from?

Post receipts, transcripts, emails, etc. Stop dancing.

You're not getting it Dustin. I knew it was a scam after about 5 minutes on the phone with you. I played along in an effort to get you to put everything in writing. And, to my surprise, you did put everything in writing.
 
No one has to like or agree with my reasons for posting the ad. You can say this or that is obvious...but that is nothing more than speculation.
Again... the reason for not giving my real name has already been explained. And yes i did have those Lace Monitors. Which is what I have been trying to find. Im not going to sit here and argue. Some people will never be satisfied no matter what the damn answer is.

Surprise? It was absolutely harmless because there was no ill intention. So why shouldnt I have put it in writing?

It's not harmless Dustin. It proves that you're a liar and scam artist. You were calling every 2 minutes, panicked, once I called you out. You wanted me to remove your cell number from the text thread because you knew your cover would be blown as soon as someone looked up the cell number.

You do not and have never owned bells lace monitors. You have never filed a police report. It's easy to prove me wrong Dustin. Go for it. Or, is it possible that you're lying?

Repeat after me: "I tried to rip this guy off for a bunch of monitors that don't exist and now I'll crawl back under whatever rock I was hiding under." I'd say it'd be good to apologize, but I don't think that apology would hold any weight, so it'd be pointless.

You should then move on with your life and leave the reptile hobby alone. You've burned too many bridges and made yourself way too unwelcome for anything positive to come from you interacting with people in the hobby. Go find another hobby and make your supposed fresh start there.
 
I haven't found the person's profile, yet...but I did check the person Dustin mentioned (that he sold to, then refunded), and it wasn't him

Heres a good idea for you...just dont do business with me. Because quite honestly there are so many other people to deal with other than me. No I wont find another hobby so I will continue my pursuit to be a better person.
 
I won't discourage you from trying to be a better person.
I will, however, point out that - if you are allowed to resume advertising here - you can expect that people will post links to your BOI threads in your ads to make others aware of your history. It won't deter everybody, as I mentioned before; but it will deter some (perhaps even many - at least for a while).
 
One thing I still don't understand - if you intended to come here and make a plea for access, why would you not do that "clean". It had been a while since you'd been here - that would have worked to your advantage...coming back with a couple of fake accounts/assumed names, then doing this when you get caught, just makes it look like you're playing the same old game.
