In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Liars very seldom can break out of that habit of avoiding the reality of the truth. I find myself wanting to believe you, but I get this nagging image of you snickering at us for even considering accepting your claims at face value. But maybe you have finally grown up and learned the value of credibility. Is it painful to someone like you to realize that no one believes anything you say? That the world would actually be a better place if not another word ever was uttered by you? Have you learned that lying is also an addiction? A crutch that is actually nothing more than a blindfold hiding the truth of a wasted and useless life you are living? I'm sorry, but I just cannot even imagine the hell that living like that would be when someone finally wakes up to realize all that they have lost in life because the truth meant nothing to them. Maybe you are there, or maybe you are not quite yet. I do pity you if you never really get your life to that point and never see yourself as others have seen you.
As best I can determine, you were originally banned because you refused to give your real full name when a moderator requested that info on your original account you created here. That in itself is not really devastating to anyone's reputation, but you have subsequently created MANY accounts using false names to avoid supplying your real name and then engage in transactions with others. Just how many lies have you told? Honestly, I have no intention of trying to figure out every little detail of what you have been up to, who you may have scammed, and whether or not you actually did make good on any deals that you hurt others with.
Truth be known, no one is banned from this site for being a scammer. But lying about your identity, and particularly creating new accounts to bypass a previous ban IS a violation of the rules, and justifies a permanent ban. But I've relented on "permanent" bans before, and probably will in the future as well. Deep down inside I guess I do hope that people CAN change for the better. So when someone comes to me saying that they are trying, does it really serve my own personal intentions with this site to not at least give them a chance to prove it?
I do not believe that your continued presence here will necessarily be good for this site. I do not believe that your being here will necessarily be good for you. But it can be, on both counts, if you are honestly determined to turn over a new leaf. The problem is, honestly, anyone who would trust you now with absolutely no tangible evidence of your becoming the "new you" that you claim, would have to be off their rocker to do business with you, in my opinion. So I believe there needs to be some tangible first step made in order for you to start to prove yourself. So I am offering you a chance at that first step.
Since the most tangible evidence I am aware of that has run afoul of the rules of this site, is your consistently creating bogus accounts to bypass your original ban, this is what I feel needs to be addressed here and now. You are obviously savvy enough to understand how to do that in such a manner that it is not immediately obvious via IP addresses and whatnot, so I am proposing a test based on some faith of your own self control. I am proposing that you be banned from this site for one (1) year. The intention is to see if you can actually do what you say by seeing evidence that you CAN. If you can man up and resist the temptation to create yet another false registration here, then at the end of that year this current account will be reopened to you, and we will then take this as some tangible evidence that you are, in fact, determined to make your past, well, THE past, and try to move on with a better future in mind for you.
But if you do weaken and create yet another bogus account, then your game is over with here. For good. As far as I will be concerned, you are what you are, and you cannot change that, so begone. I don't want you around.

I understand what you propose. However, would it make much of a difference to you if I were to purchase animals for a year without selling? It would benefit other members on this site with that much more business. If I post a for sale ad...immediately banned.
I would be able to at least build a good buyer reputation. I am a reptile keeper who does purchase animals.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to spell it out to you and the implied alternative to my suggestion would be obvious.
So let me clarify......
You can either accept the temporary ban and use that time to prove to us that you actually are on the road to changing your life, or you will be banned permanently and we will just go back to catching out all the bogus registrations you create. Either way you will have proved something to us.
So to simplify, pick one:
- Temporary one year ban, or
- Permanent ban.
Failure to choose door number one will result in your being pushed through door number two. The reason I have come up with this solution is exactly because I feel that you are a risk, based on your past history. Your stating something does not make it a fact, in my opinion.
Sorry, but I didn't make the bed that you are now sleeping in, you did.
Oh, and just to clarify something that I may be presuming is understood, Dustin, if you choose the temporary ban route, you also cannot utilize any previously registered account on this site that you may have access to within that one year period. I just want to be clear that such a hair splitting technicality is not going to be available to you. You need to go totally "cold turkey" on this site for the entire year.

I have read the whole thread and have come to the conclusion that I would not do any business with you be it buying or selling. I would hate to think that an animal I sold you might be used down the road to scam someone else. All I keep reading is a lame list of excuses and lies to cover up lies. Call it harsh criticism if you want but your past decisions come with consequences. I think one of those consequences should be a total ban from the reptile hobby. I was scammed years ago and it still bothers me 9 years later. So I feel for the people you ripped off, they likely haven't gotten over it completely. You don't deserve the ability to earn forgiveness in my opinion.
