Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I filed a complaint with my local Police Department yesterday at the request of the Sheriffs Department in Dustin's area. His local authorities will be paying him a visit very soon. In that I mailed him the payment (vs. using credit card or paypal) there will also be mail fraud charges which is a Federal offense. Checked with USPS and they are eager to pursue this matter. I figured $700 was too small amount for anyone to be concerned about. From my conversations with the Sheriff's department and USPS I am positive that Dustin is in for a world of hurt. I highly encourage anyone else that has had problems with this character to pursue any legal action they can. Granted, we are not going to get our cash back but we can certainly make life interesting for Dustin.

In regards to your email I do not know him but this seems par for the course .He does not send because he ripped you off and has no snakes he sold.I recieved snakes this winter at 20 was the temp well packed and 75 in the box .winter shipping can be done with ease if it is done right.He is avoiding you as he ripped you off and others of that I am sure.Go back and read some other threads this is how they do it 1 excuse after another then no contact when they get the cash.We are easy targets if the deal is too good to be true do not send money.Buy from well known sourses and you will do well .Check for refrences and call around first,Pardon my spelling I am tired

Dustin Mckay what a cruel person! A couple of weeks ago I got in contact with Dustin and he said he has been having problems with his paypal to return me back my money. He asked if it would be ok if you could just ship the snake. I agreed and said he could. Last week I was supposed to receive the snake but he was "to busy" to ship. Well he shipped her yesterday and I received her today and I am furious right now Last month he told me that this female spider ball python that I purchased was weighing in at 1178 grams and has been eating good for him. When I saw the snake bag I immediately knew that this snake was small. I opened the bag and I find a emaciated snake. this snake was is only 645 grams! that is 533 grams smaller then she was supposedly at!
I just contacted Dustin telling asking him what is happening. I asked him what the hell am I looking at; this animal is almost 2 times smaller then what you said. His response word by word was: that animal is exactly what was on kingsnake and she was never that big she hasn't been fed all winter. Even though clearly in one of his last emails to me he stated that she was 1178 grams and eating and just went threw a shed. I replied saying that's a load of bs because no snake can loose that much weigh. Now he is saying that my scale is off because he just weighed her at 1098 grams before she left his place. Even if my scale was off which it's not because I checked on 2 different scales their is no reason for this snakes spine and ribs to be showing! Now he wont answer me straight forward.
I just don't know what to do now?

Frank ... contact your local police department and file a complaint. Bring printed copies of all emails. Try to put together a phone log and content to the best of your memory.
Then have them contact Lt. Joseph Weeks of the Sheriff's department in Dustin's area. You also contact Lt. Weeks with your case number and explain your situation. Mention my name as it may refresh his memory.

His last excuse to me was that his computer crashed and he had no other method of retrieving his yahoo mail. Add that to the "the snake is in shed", "it just ate", " it is too cold", and others excuses.

It can be filed as both mail fraud and...
It can be filed as both mail fraud and civil theft and anything 300.00 or more is considered a felony so you may want to point that out to him. By the way I'm posting this immediately after reading the above quoted post so forgive me if this has already been resolved.
