In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I just received two snakes from dwight, both where in great shape and properly packaged, they where properly represented and no surprises, well except a "free" hatchling along with my order.

Agreed, I've purchased babies from Dwight in 2000 and 2001
and both times been very happy with the quality of snakes.
Dwight goes above and beyond what is expected!

I also agree. I have received many snakes from Dwight and have always been happy. His snakes are always beautiful and healthy.

I have to say that Dwight is an excellent guy.  He sent me two awesome albino yellow rats, and because he couldn't get any of the others I'd originally ordered feeding regularly on their own where he was comfortable selling them, he sent me a free south florida yellow rat. <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Thumbs WAY WAY Up

I ordered a cb snake and I received cb snakes (plural) - that is, I got what I ordered plus. The packaging was excellent and on time. The animals beautiful. Do not hesitate to do business with Dwight. He is a credit to the herp business (and this business needs all the honest, credible people it can get)!

I ordered a Deckert's rat snake from Dwight and he arranged to hand deliver it to me. The snake is doing wonderful after a year. Dwight is now going out of his way to try to find a mate to this snake for me. I will do business with Dwight again.

Sounds like a guy I would like to do business with.  Does he have a website?

Yes. He does have a website. It is: http://www.kingsnake.com/obsoleta/home.htm

I just got my first snakes from Dwight yesterday. He only lives an hour or so away from me so I went to pick them up. Dwight was a super person to deal with. My snakes (leucistic Texas rats) are great...and I got the added bonus of getting to see a lot of his other snakes. It definitely made me want to get some more from him next season!

Beautiful babies

Hello,

I ordered two babies and three sub-adult ratsnakes from Dwight Good in '04. Mr. Good was constantly on hand and willing to answer every half-baked question I sent. He was deeply concerned about the animals when the Fedex truck was an hour late; he replied to my emails during that episode within minutes.

Several months after the sale, Mr. Good walked me through his tease-feeding method, including images and some two pages of text, when I had intermittant trouble with one of the hatchlings (she is currently stuffed full like a sausage, and would stay that way permanently if allowed. ;) All the other snakies have been trying their very best to empty my freezer since shortly after their arrival.

The website used to be www.dwightgood.com, but it doesn't seem to be functioning anymore (this is unfortunate, as the "species information" section was actually quite useful. And the photography -- wow!)

I don't know if I can post someone else's email address without permission, but it looks like this link: http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/sendmessage.php?do=mailmember&u=1414
should allow you to contact him. I don't know that it's possible to find anyone better from whom to purchase unusual ratsnakes.

Cheers,
