    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Because he received a warning point.
Then he brought up a point that was the point of someone else before.
ALL i was saying is that i intend on being VERY CONSISTENT from now on.
Hes the one that got froggy about a warning point,He got 2 for being overly abusive to another in MY eyes.He NOW deserves the point of profanity and being overly abusive to me.
He shouldn't of went off about the warning point in public,HES in the wrong.

You know what's really funny? The fact that those mods try and play you, Wes like you aren't respected by anyone here, yet most of those that don't get involved in these type of posts find more and more respect for you by the day. I'd buy/sell to and respect people like Wes and Peter any day, long before you that are on the ECC blacklist.

I think that Webslave is going to find that those that he keeps in moderation status are really going to ruin the reputation here. It's like those "in charge" are the moral police dinging everyone that doesn't agree with them, but the way I see it, they are NOT necessarily the majority, just the LOUDEST. Think about it? There are over 1000 active members here and only, what, maybe 10 of them are handing out the dings? Who really is the majority? If we didn't have to pay to play, I'd have handed out tons of dings, just not to Wes or Peter. I'd start with Jim O and work from there.

Jon I don't really agree with your take on Peter hey if I responded to an email like he did and then showed my posterior here I'd expect the same treatment. If you wanted to buy an animal from me and sent me an email and I told you where you could stuff your offer don't tell me you wouldn't be pissed. As has been said he could have come here said oops bad day sorry and been on his merry way but he didn't.

Jon if I'm in a thread and get into it with someone and they get a little carried away should I give them a warning? Wouldn't look good, heck I could set someone up and zap! got em.. Now if someone else who can warn folks wants to nail that someone , well thats one thing but me doing it doesn't seem fair or right.. Have to do what I think is right. Randy
 
Randy, I think you missed my point. When is it fair that the moderation can be derogatory and another mod (like yourself) overlooks it, when another member (non-mod) gets twice the points for doing the same thing? Someone with some "power" needs to give the points to those abusing the "power". Just thought you might step up, but I see you don't want to step on any toes.

Then again... this could be a ploy to get the rest of us to pay to play, but you won't see a dime from me with all this unbalanced/abused "power" around. It's not worth my buck to ding back. I'll take mine. You all can run this site like 9th graders if you want. I just don't see it helping the site... rather hindering it much more.

I've purchased some kings from Peter and all have been some of the most robust, healthiest animals I've ever had. One thing I can say about Pete is he is honest, and won't rip anyone off. I've met Peter at several shows, as well as went herping with him last year. He's alot of fun to hang with. Now Peter may rub certain customers wrong, and if that's the case, so be it. He does have a low tolerance for someone that would ask if they could have a $10.00 scorpion for $5.00 And if that bothers some customers, then they have the right to never purchase from him. Fair enough. I just wanted to add my part in this thread, that he really is a good guy.
Peter, I'm going to miss you dealing with colubrids, but I understand your reasons why. Hope to get with you and some of the others this spring for a little herping.

Well he might be the most honest guy in the hobby, but his actions are far from good. IMO, someone that has shown the lack of class he has would not be on the top of the list to buy from.

Who knows, some people might like dealing with someone that acts like a total jerk, I however do not. JMHO. :rolleyes:
