• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I recently rescued from a cat a mouse with racing stripes (chipmunk for those that don't get it). I have had him for almost two months and he is the most loving rodent I have ever met. He will come to me when I call him and will hop into my head. He loves to lick and is generally a very good pet.

Two days ago I captured a chip that was undermining the foundation of my house with her burrow. She is an adult female with a damaged tail. She already lets me pet her and eats well.

I would like to talk to chipmunk breeders/owners for any advice for eastern chipmunks they would share. I have researched on the net as much as possible and have learned a lot about my new pets but want to know more.

Thanks :)

LOL, "into", hehe..... ^^

Anyways, I'm sorry I can't be any legitimate help as I don't own any myself, but I've been a member of the squirrel board for a while (also includes chipmunks), and if they're anything like tree squirrels, which I assume they are, they really only make good pets for like the first 8 months or so- then they 'become really nasty, bitey, territorial, will want to run free in the trees and will no longer be that loving baby you once had...' or something similar to that. Sorry...
And, if you don't already, and if you plan on keeping them, I personally suggest building them a large outdoor aviary- they enjoy the outdoors more, and I think it may keep their future tempers at bay... You won't be able to have as close of a relationship with them, but they should be happier, if you're planning to keep them...

Sorry I don't have more helpful/hopeful advice.
The members of the squirrel board would probably be able to help you a bit more, but they would almost un-doubtably shoot you down for even Thinking of taking two animals out of the wild and breeding them- that's just out of the question for them and they'd think you're down-right cruel - they thought I was completely horrible for asking for red squirrel breeders; because they're NOT to EVER be kept as pets unless you're a rehabber and you have a too imprinted squirrel. . . " "
Sorry about that, and that's not my opinion, nor what I said [if you had any doubt.], simply sharing why I don't recommend people to the squirrel board even if they are helpful, and sharing what others may think if you proceed with your plan.
