    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have been looking for easterns myself. I have not found any captive breeders, and have searched for them in the wild for the past 15 years and have never seen a single one. Good luck!

I do see them from time to time but it's like once or twice a year maybe? They usually sell pretty inexpensively as well. I caught an adult years ago upstate NY what a beauty! Then last Summer I had a guy in PA catch one and sell it to me pretty young but I passed it on also. They are gorgeous snakes and I've been looking for a breeding pair myself but they are few and far in between for some reason? Good luck!

I saw PA mentioned in a couple of posts in this thread...last time I checked it was illegal to sell wild caught PA eastern milks OR even breed wild caughts and sell the CB offspring. (did something change recently?)

I only want captive bred, and would prefer that it would be more than one generation because otherwise I don't see much of a difference between that and wild caught. I could easily catch my own snakes, but I want captive bred.

At this point it does not matter whether or not it is captive bred- in NY state with the new regulations in place it is now prohibited to possess ANY NY state native species without a permit from DEC (NY Fish & Game). Be careful what you post.....

This snake is for a nature center to display the reptiles and amphibians of New York State. There will be no problem with getting a permit.

are proteced in there whole range from main to nothern NJ on the east cost and I know they go pretty far west and south.

These snakes probably have a better future being bred in captivity. Pollution and loss of habitat (housing developments, strip malls and highways, thank you humans) have taken a devastating toll on e. milks in Va. Some jackasses need to realize that state law will allow the species to become extinct . If you want good captive bred eastern milks call me @757-343-7431 my C.B.e milks are some of the most vibrant lines available. I'm not sure what the laws are as far as me selling them as most of my neonates make it back to the wild, but I'll find out. Look forward to hearing from youse guys. Peace. *Fish

Checked my laws cause you gots to no yo laws. Im o.k. I cant sell a native species in Va but we can work somthing out. *Fish
