2025 Captive born eastern river cooter. These guys make phenomenal pets, but you must keep in mind, they are POND turtles. Meaning, not only will they require a pond in the future; these guys get massive with females getting upward of sixteen inches plus.
I like to refer to them as "aquatic cows" they feed primarily on aquatic vegetation, but can be supplemented with dark leafy greens and weeds such as dandelion. They also take advantage of protein like things such as aquatic snails, shrimp, and fish fed in moderation.
These guys have been feeding on aquatic vegetation, weeds, pellets, and glass shrimp. Payment is via zelle or venmo. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have concerning care. As many as youd like. I want whats best for the animals more than just a purchase.It does not bother me.
