    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Americans eat out more than ever before. Here's a poll to see what YOU prefer when you go out to eat.
 
I like East Indian food; some of these choices were not polled because they are not widely available. Fortunately there is one restaurant not too far away that I have gone to for decades when I'm in the mood for Indian food.
 
Eating out when it is absolutely

necessary ! LOL ! While not many choices where I live in the outbacks of east mid-central Kansas, when in my second living area of west Texas, one has to be a connoisseur of eating establishments to as not getting SICK from eating dishes of Mexican cuisine in the very few available restaurants. If they got MACHO CHILI SALSA, or some places it's reverse with CHILI MACHO that alone will kill any food born problems ! AND if cruising the highways at night as the prescribed way of observation of seeking herps, this salsa is a eye opener good for about 6 to 8 hours after consuming. Going back to more Americans are eating out, yes and more Americans are getting sick from eating out. I'm no Howard Hughes with his obsessiveness of his later years of cleanliness and so, but I have come to the knowledge and from watching the very many television shows of things that go on as well as friends in the " BIZZ" , that I will only eat at establishments where you can see what goes on in the kitchen. You folks that send food back to the kitchen for any reason..BEWARE ! I can tell you of my own personal thingies while owning and working of several restaurants in my days , but............
 
I would REALLY like to know who chose frozen rodents as their preferred dining fare... :eek:

My nephew saw me thawing out some frozen rats and asked what they were. I told him they are frozen rats that I need to thaw out. He ran to his mom crying that he didn't want to eat rats for dinner. :rofl:

I guess that's what happens when you keep your rats in the same deep freeze as you do frozen pizza and hamburger. :shrug01:

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA well, if seasoned just right....nah still gross!!
I am a steak hound!! Nothing better than a big juicy rare steak!! Mmmmm Good!
And none of that nasty steak sauce either. Some asparagus on the side with a light hollandaise and I'm a happy girl.

I think it was Kentucky Fried chicken the put those in the bucket! But, I need to check snopes to be sure LOL!

It's called the Taj Mahal, it's on the southbound Gulf Freeway feeder road I think around Monroe/Howard. For lunch they have a buffet around $7, it is wonderful.
Y'all should hold a meeting there, (although I'm sure we can't trade reptiles inside the restaurant).
 
That's a great idea, we have alot of members across town, I been wanting to meet you too. Not to change the topic but, what do you think of HB1309?

I very much admire what your group has done. I am currently writing a deadlined article having to do with a women's health issue but after that and before finals I would love to join y'all in fighting this unfortunate bill.

I am a college student full time and work full time. I'm almost never home and when I am it's spent with the herps, posting or sleeping. I only have a mini-fridge and a micro and no real culinary talent so I eat out almost every meal. :(

I like everything, especially Sushi, which is I guess covered in "Sea Food" though I dont like cooked fish. I guess I'm odd :)
 
You can fly in and go to the Taj with us, it will be an open party :)
 
I love all food...

Sushi is a fave of mine for sure, most Asian foods are great..

Although I haven't eaten rats as of yet. Hmmmm... Yeah, not so sure about that one.
