Are mojaves cheaper then that now? although, at least he has a decent gun..the sig is a great gun. Oh and i am out..(of the reptile world). I already said that. Not worried about a thing. Cant we all just get along?

Last word for a little..I have stuff going on thru the weekend so i wont be back. If someone threatens my kids lives, all 6 of them, I dont care who that person is, I will do what it takes to protect them no matter what.

Posts like this one only serve to make those who read it certain that you are not mentally balanced. The need you have to brag about your gun is fodder for a good many jokes, all of which I will, for now, leave alone. It also makes it look as though you need support just to go outside which leads us right back to the mentally unstable road. Seriously.

You ever watch a really big guy beat up on a really little guy? It's just not fair. It's just not right. It really shouldn't be happening. The little guy, no matter how tough he is, no matter how many times he gets up, is simply fighting out of his weight class. jody, as big as you are in real life, you're the little guy in this fight. You know ed, it's a damn shame you live so far from me. IF you lived closer you know what I'd do to your kids? Let me tell you.

First I'd gather them up all in the same place. Then I'd tell them a story about a lying sack of crap that took advantage of a guy who was obviously having some problems mentally. I'd spell it out clearly how this guy lied and cheated and teased this poor chump all for the pitiful sum of $700.00 dollars.

Then I'd ask them what they thought of someone like that. Someone who would prey on a guy who wasn't all there. Someone who would steal from another person. Someone who would lie to cover up that he had stolen. I'd ask them if THEY, the kids would ever do such a thing and when they said NO, because it was WRONG, I'd commend them for knowing right from wrong.

Then I'd tell them, looking each one in the eye as I did so, that their own father was the lying theiving scumbag I was talking about. I'd tell them that their father stole a snake from a guy to save a paltry $700.00. I'd tell them that for the rest of their lives they would now have to wonder if what their father told them was the truth or a lie.

You see, if he would lie and steal for such a small thing as a ball python, what else might he lie about? How could any of them EVER trust a single thing he ever said to them again. He didn't just lie to the poor guy he ripped off, but to all the people who tried to help that man get his money back. He lied on the internet, he lied in person, he lied on the phone and it wasn't just one time. It was over and over and over, as if he had been lying his entire life and was an expert at doing it.

I'd tell them what a shame it was that so many people knew their father was a liar and a thief, that neither I nor many thousands of others would EVER trust anything their father told us and that we would refuse to do business if he wanted to do it with us. I would tell them that they should beel ASHAMED of thier father for being such a scumbag and brining down their family name and making people wonder about them, his children.

If the father is such a lying scumbag, is it too much to imagine that the children are as well? And what of their mother? Whay kind of woman would tolerate such a scumbag? Was she a liar too? Did she cheat them when they played monopoly? When she said she loved them as she tucked them in at night, did she really mean it or was she just saying it, the way their father just said things to make life easier?

I'd tell them all this and more, if only you lived closer ed.

Maybe someone who does live closer will tell them all this for me. You can bet that someday they WILL find this thread and they WILL read it and see just what kind of theiving scumbag you are.

I have over 2000 in class hours in law enforcement training consisting of the academy, field training, and classroom hours. 700 hours to get my emt license and continuing education. Over 1000 hours in fire fighter training. I am 16 weeks and one class from obtaining my intermediate police officer license. I also passed the first responder class for FEMA.

Ya know, I wish I could turn back time and take back what I did as far as the messages are concerned. I think each of us has a time in life we wish we could take back something we said or did, or handle a situation differently. I will take your advice and get away for a couple of days, and then return and see if there is an attitude change towards me. I will make an attitude change in that time as well. I have been wrong in the things I have said to people on here and I know that. I feel that some have wronged me and joined the crowd just to have something to do, but I can move on and forget about. After all, it is just words on a computer screen. To those who I have offended, I apologize. I will take a break and see if that makes a difference. Saying that you are sorry is all well and good IF you mean it. Say it once and then prove it. Telling us, AGAIN, that you will see it through to the end, for you, is tantamount, is more likely than not, another threat. Tagging on the "if I do it civilly" bit is kind of like trying to cover your whole ass with one square of charmin. It just doesn't work.

Use fewer words to say EXACTLY what you mean. IF you must post, write it out, use the preview post option and cut out, literally half of what you've written.

You, you in PARTICULAR, need to start small and expect nothing. You've pretty much screwed the pooch here. Given time a bunch of us will come around, but it's not going to be quick or easy. Your simply leaving for a couple of days is not going to affect this boards attitude towards you one bit. Your behaving like a human when you return for a good long time just possibly might.

Wow! I have been reviewing this thread and Wow! I think it's the first BOI thread I've read that could be converted into a screen play and televised as a soap opera.

Seriously though Jody, I'm really sorry that you got scammed out of $700 and/or your animal. I'm sure you're probably concerned at this point about where the animal is and if it's taken care of too. The whole thing sucks, and this guy really does seem like a piece of work but it seems like you're stuck between a rock and a hard place. This guy doesn't care if anyone in the reptile community ever does business with him again so this thread puts absolutely no pressure on him to do what's right and save his rep. You could go about getting the money back through the Kansas courts, but as others have explained that's going to be difficult because of the way Kansas laws are set up and you may end up just losing more money in court costs on top of your $700. You could try to scare him or force him into returning the snake or the money but that's probably going to get you in trouble and hurt your reputation in the herp community.

I hate to say this because it's completely unfair but it may really be time to chalk this one up to a lesson learned about trusting people and let it go. At least then you could move up and quit getting yourself upset about it over and over again.
