    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ed has really been put in a corner and just stoned for no reason other than competing with the clique and winning people over!!!

So i should just forget the fact that he threatened me?

Everyone wants to keep jumping on the ad part of this. There has been other things brought up that Ed has not denied doing. He wants to ignore it. The more I look at this and see what has been happening in the past, the more I doubt Ed. He sells a ton of animals that claims are his own and brags about what he has for breeders. But if someone asks him for a picture of his breeders, he just ignores them. He constantly post pics of animals he has for sale, but how often have you seen pictures of females on clutches? or eggs in the incubator? or pics of copulations? I'm not saying its required, but why not, especially when people are asking to see them.

If he's re-selling that's fine, he just needs to be honest about it.

I was not aware of any threats and I haven't seen where he's been asked to provide pictures of the mother on eggs, or copulations, but I don't doubt it.

I can see where your coming from as far as people wanting to see the pictures. I'm sure at times my picture posts may be much during the process of my animals breeding... but I like to have them to show for the entire process of the situation even if they are just pastels. As far as Ed not posting pictures of his breeders, I myself have seen a couple posts of his of some nice breeders in action...

Honestly though... I'm not taking sides... I haven't read this entire thread nor do I feel like it. I read the first couple of pages and it started out directed towards the ad, Hence why I jumped in and gave my 0.02 on the Ad.
 
In a sense it may help if he just admitted that a part of his sales (big or small) were resells...

Back to the topic though... and according to the title of this thread I believe I'm going in the right direction here...

I think the animals he's selling are great looking animals. I myself might not be interested in the price but, it's not like someone has put a gun to my head and said "buy or else!?"
 
It appears that the main part of my question has been ignored. Let me restate it...

Ed's been getting kicked around here pretty good and I can't for the life of me figure out why? I've seen the same ads and posts that everyone else sees and while I can understand why some of them may be aggravating to some people, I really haven't seen anything worth this kind of beating. What am I missing? There has GOTTA be something going on behind the scenes that nobody wants to talk about. If there is, then either spill it or drop it. To someone like me who isn't 'in the loop' this is really beginning to look like a witch hunt.

Bill, I'm sorry you have felt threatened by Ed, nobody should have to put up with that. But you need to post proof. Were these threats by E-mail or PM? If so could you post them? If it was by phone or speaking to each other in person do you have any witnesses or other proof that would back up your claim?

I'm sure Eds no angel, if he were he'd be the first one I've ever met in the reptile business. But I also see no reason to demonize him either based on the evidence thats been laid out so far. :shrug01:
 
mr. clark, how many baby balls do you produce yourself? How many clutches have you had laid or are expecting to be laid for this season? What morphs will YOU be producing with YOUR animals? By YOUR animals I mean in your posession that you own completely, free and clear. By YOU I mean that YOU personally will have put together, not that are on breeding loan or part of some co-op or other business relationship.

Thank you for you time and care in the answers to come, no doubt they will not only be truthful but enlightening as well; afterall, only someone with something to hide, a theif or liar or crook, would decline such a politely worded request for such important information as I have just made.

FWIW, I don't see too much wrong with the ad that Ed placed. It didn't seem like he was trying to deceive people, and the expressions he used seem to be used a lot for genetic and unproven Balls. However, Ed has proven himself to be an unethical person who can't seem to help lying quite often when it suits his needs. And when caught in a lie, he will either ignore everyone or continue to try to lie his way out of it.

I understand that the thread is about Ed Clark. It's just that it's the Bp.net clique that are the ones that have been pressing Ed and throwing the punches long before any instance or situation had arised from anywhere...

It's already been made clear that discussions/posts about that forum should be dealt with elsewhere and I can respect that. Keep the conspiracy theories coming. They are SO amusing! If you didn't care about being a member of that forum, than why did you rejoin under 3 different aliases after you were already banned? Ed's problems have nothing to do with bp.net. You just felt the need to bring it up so you could talk about yourself and how you were wronged. Boo hoo...Back on topic now...
 
There's no love lost between Ed and myself. I don't like the way he tries to steal other people's sales by posting about available animals in their ads, etc. He has also made less than honest accusations about other members of this forum. He has criticized others for pricing their animals too low. He has sent thinly veiled threats via PM.

His ad, as it was originally worded, was a tad misleading. So long as he wasn't using the names of proven morphs and had it been accompanied by a large disclaimer that the genetics of these CH animals was unknown and for all he knew these were simply "fancy" normals, there would have been nothing wrong with it. That he re-opened and edited it after it had been locked by a site supermod was shady at best, and might have gotten him thrown off other sites. The reason that this is a problem is not so much for the knowledgeable people who are following this thread but for a newbie who believes these animals possessed a "minor morph" as in something necessarily reproducible via breeding.

As for Ed's prices, well they are Ed's snakes and he can ask whatever he wants, so long as he honestly represents the items that he is offering for sale. The market really sets the prices in the end. If he can get $250 for an animal on which he spent $7 then more power to him.

So what we have is Ed acting like Ed. A bit disingenuous but willing to back off when his hand is slapped. He obviously has no shame whatever and probably would be a successful door to door salesman.

As to the issue of brokering, that is between him and his customers. He isn't required to answer that here. If his customers are satisfied with his answer if and when they ask that question then that is all that counts.

Lastly, I will point out that Ed has many satisfied customers here at Fauna and a nice "good guy" thread. He does appear to supply healthy, feeding animals. In all of this thread no one has come along and said anything bad about his animals or his customer service.

Interestingly enough, I've noticed a few posters in this thread stating that they actually DIDN'T think his ad was out of line, those posters are actually active members of bp.net and this so-called clique that you think is pulling strings. Maybe if you had read this whole thread, as you stated above that you had not, you would have noticed

Its unfortunate how sour you remain about the bp.net thing and it's completely inappropriate to try to peg responsibility for Ed's mess here on what goes on in the other forum.
 
Ed Clark sells snakes with mites, misrepresents animals, and who knows what else.....definitely not somebody I would consider a "good guy" by any stretch of the imagination.
