It's obvious (and has always been) that you don't like Ed.
But, jeez! Chuck making a blanket statement like that?
I am sure Ed has many, many satisfied customers, and if Chuck is basing his statement on ONE website, then that's hardly supports his statement (conjecture) that MOST people don't like him.

The thread was 10th months old before you resurrected it, and its your right to do that, but you're stretching it when saying everyone wants to know. Anyone that wanted to know could have kept this thread alive by consistently asking him. But nobody has because nobody cares. Most people don't like Ed, and most people don't like anyone that has anything to do with him.

Also, you seem to state with some certainty that Ed Clark hasn't paid what he owes - when it hasn't even been established that he owes anything at all. So how is it you know he owes John for a fact and how do you know he hasn't paid?

So anyway, John Martino requested that Ed not speak anymore about this situation and so far it looks as though Ed has kept his end of the bargain. So I'd have to believe they are working something out since John hasn't updated this thread to state otherwise.

In fact the last I read (according to John) was that Ed sent him some snakes as payment, some of which John accepted and some which John refused. So saying Ed owes $7k is actually incorrect. No one knows whats been chipped off the bill so far.

But I thought you said you read this whole thread? If you did you would have known that.

Why not ask John Martino? He's the one who alleged Ed owes him money.

Why not ask Allen? He's the one who started this thread and hes the one who alleges to be a legitimate debt collector contracted by John to handle this debt.

Either should have all the proof in the world to satisfy you one way or the other. Yes?

Why continue to ask someone you have already determined you will not do business with?

Here's a few questions I have.

Is Allen a licensed debt collector?

Is John Martino really owed anything - considering he hasn't posted a shred of credible evidence that Ed Clark was or is currently in debt to him?

Look, Ed Clark doesn't exactly handle things here as I would expect from a really good and decent business man but he has amazingly beautiful animals. For me to threaten him or for you to threaten him that we wouldn't do business with him until we get an answer is not going to get us the answer.

On one hand we want him to satisfy his debt to John, but on the other hand we aren't going to do business with him so he'll have the money to pay that debt off. So whats left to do? Complain about it? Haunt the guy? Taunt the guy? Argue amongst each other?

If you know John is owed money, and Ed acknowledges to you that he owes John money, and you want to see that John gets his money, then set up a deal that the money for the animal goes directly to John to deduct from Eds tab, and the shipping charges go to Ed, and you get the animal you want.

People helping people, yes? Good solution and everyone's happy?

I hear you man, I dont really know much about that issue, just wanted to see a resolution posted, thats all..... I doubt he would send me a reptile w/ me sending the money to john martino as payment for his debt but, you never know.

Just so its clear, I have NOTHING against Ed Clark, at all.
Your right chuck, he does have some amazing beardies....

I wasnt trying to attack him in any way, just wanted to see him or john finally post a resolution after such a long period of time.

I know some dealers have problems with people from time to time, but a problem like this, between 2 or 3 well known dealers was just like......WOW!

I did a trade a year ago w/ Ed, that I initiated...........4 a Lesser Ball $1500

I traded the{9-animals + gecko}seasons RosyBoa offspring to aquire........When the snakes arrived to him.......He changed his mind-due 2 size. We agreed on $500 to be added at a later date..........

I was Not happy w/ that, but wanted Python, and already shipped across country. He was going to add 2 "specials/unusuals" from Africa Import.

6 weeks later: My Python Died..........After many months.......Ed calls for $500..............I explain disappointment............We mutually agree to call it Done. Both frustrating, yet Fair. I never received "unusuals" agreed upon previously.......But Ed did Not receive cash promised, after Original Trade
either.............It was a wash.......I have an expensive Popcycle though

Jason, did you ever have a necropsy performed? I would be mighty curious to know what the animal died from, since you aren't the first to mention such a thing about an animal coming from Ed. If you haven't, it's a little late now unless it's something obvious that stands out at the visual part of the exam. But freezing destroys cells and a lot of information could have been obtained otherwise.

Since you're not a woman, Ed's not likely to come and defend himself with more then flat denial. Sorry, that's just how he rolls.
