In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

As some of you know, my husband and I entered into a partnership with Eddie Markward at the beginning of December 2014. We agreed to terms that both parties found fair. Eddie agreed to take in our collection and care for them until we were able to have them again. My husband is active duty military and got reassigned. Due to the move and us expecting our first child, we felt it would be easier if our animals went to Eddie and would benefit from sharing males/females. After an unfortunate event and learning our animals were very small for their age, we decided to head out to Georgia to pick them up. Upon seeing our animals, I was in shock and at a loss for words. I will leave this here and answer any questions that I need to. I hope that the pictures can speak for themselves.

First pictures are of one of my 2010 female fires. weighed 808g when I picked her up. She was 1300-1400g when he got her in Dec 2014

We had been asking for pictures and weights for months on a few snakes. I finally got him to send me a picture of two 2014 hatches that I was wanting to trade for some other animals from a friend. When he sent pics and weights, that's when we found out. The two in question was our kingpin ghost female that we hatched in 2014 and a dreambee female I got from Breeder's Circle. He said the kingpin ghost weighed 120g and the dreambee 180g. Both of these animals were at least 75 g when he got them in December of 2014.

All were infested with mites. Some had them worse than others.

I am at a loss for words. In the past Eddie has seemed like a decent guy, but there is no excuse for the condition of these animals. Do you have any pictures of them from before you left them in his care?

Eddie, please, say something...anything....This is a complete shock to see something written like this about you. I never ever would have expected to see a negative post about you. What in the world happened?

I do have pictures of some of the animals before Eddie got them. They are not recent ones in terms of with in a month of him getting them but I can assure you that my animals were fat and healthy before they went to his place with an exception of two. One had burns on her belly because one shelf on one of my older racks got too hot. I had been treating her and let Eddie know of her condition before he got them. The other one was showing signs of RI but was still eating. She just had a few bubbles that I thought would clear up with a bump in heat since she was still eating. I made sure to let him know of their condition and to see what he wanted me to do with them.

Here is a link to the last shots I took of some of our animals.

If you have a question about the situation then ask. She's got all the proof she needs and I'm sure she will post it as questions are asked.

Well, for starters, where are the details of the agreement? What were the terms? What was the arrangement? Did you check in on the snakes, inquire about how they were doing? If so, what was the response? Were you kept informed about issues regarding mites, illness, overheating from tstat failure, etc? When did he receive the animals? When did you get them back? Is this all of them? Were there more? If so, where are they and what was their condition when you got them back?

That'll do for now, I think.

She can post proof in the morning as, I believe, she's dealing with her newborn this evening. But we discussed this all earlier today. The terms are in the picture below. Yes she checked on them, he was supposed to send pics and never did. She can give the rest of the details when she has time. Grill her all you'd like, Jennifer, she's not in the wrong here.

She said he got the snakes from her in Dec 2014. She said that she had been asking for pics and weights for months on a few snakes. From the sound of it, she just got her animals back today.

Never said I needed a response right this second, Dana. Just didn't make sense to me to not post the whole of what happened, from the time terms were decided (including what they were) to now, all at once so that people can read through it and ask questions from there. Seems easier to do it that way, rather than dangling a carrot and waiting for questions.

Ryan, she said they entered the agreement in December 2014. Which is why I'm asking when he actually received the animals. Just trying to get the timeline pegged down. As far as asking for pics and weights for months, I must have missed that one. I went back and looked and found it. Thanks.

She said her fire girl was 1300-1400 grams in Dec 14 when he got her, and was 808 when she picked her up. To me that sounds like he got them in Dec 2014, when the agreement was made.
