Yes. I offered that\ trade to him because I bought some hybrids I can breed those into. Then he wants way more than there value. But do u think he should talk to other members like he does?

No, I do not - and I have already expressed my thoughts on that in the moderator forum. (I'm making that known now, so no claims can be made that it isn't being addressed, or that my response is due to this thread, private communications, etc.)


My point is, after your first attempt at trading with this member broke down, why would you contact him AGAIN - a month later - in attempt to negotiate the same trade?

Mr Blanco has issues - no doubt about that - but you come off as an instigator.
Besides, you knew the value he was placing on the snakes before you contacted him with an offer that could be considered akin to a lowball (1/6 of the stated trade value - regardless of anybody's thoughts about how much they might be worth). When he advised you that he would need more than your offered trade to complete the deal, and that he'd like you to ship first - you bailed.

I ran into a project to where I can use their bloodlines.my intent wasn't to instigate. Anything. But as far as I know. Only my self and Chuck Hurd are the only ones with these leucy cottons, as Terry stopped his breeding project. My snakes are worth way more than those neos, he's offering. Also, they are zoo stock so really, they may be stolen. And I do have some buddies of mine checking on that. The fact is , he's a bad tempered cyber bully so it's up to you to decide what's best for your members. I know I'm controversial but I'm honest and I don't curse people out

I doubt it - but I wouldn't recommend trying to find out. As I already stated - I've already outlined my plan for Mr Blanco in the mod forum. The only reason I haven't acted on it yet was because I was hoping for a response from him first. (The system showed him as active with a time stamp of 10 minutes prior to my message.) Unfortunately, he was already gone - so I'll give it a couple of hours to see if he comes back.

Neo tropical rattlers are illegal to own/ possess in Georgia without a permit. Do you have an exhibitors license and your liability insurance? You should post proof if you do. I for one wanted to like you when you first started posting here. We have several things incommon like, living in GA!, liking pygmy rattlers!, and liking NOFX! lol random! However your pattern of disruptive behavior, immaturity, and recklessness has been very off putting. Maybe someone can check the secretary of states office and see if Joe has the proper permits for the species he is trying to procure. I wonder what other "potential black eyes for the community" are being kept in his house! Maybe an IP check for an address and a phone call to DNR is in short order here..

Also. For those of you that don't know. Patrick. Make sure u are aware of this also. You cannot have venomous snakes in your house in Georgia. You have to have a separate facility that locks and have locking cages for your hots. DNR will come and inspect this when you apply for a permit to keep a non native species. And when I get back from my work in North Dakota I will gladly post pics of my whole facility. So Patrick. Where do you keep your pygmies? Maybe DNR should come inspect your house. Because mine is all compliant.

This thread alerts the community and the mods of his communication style. If you are saying his snakes are common, get them somewhere else and avoid interacting with him from now on.

There is something I don't understand even if everything you state is correct.

I would agree if someone simply is inquiring about an animal and is offering a trade is meet with vulgarities out of blue, it would be something noteworthy.

As Harald pointed out, you already had issues with the person posting the ad and the subject of this thread. He posted in his ad the trade value he wanted.

I am letting go of one second year breeder pair of Tzabcan Rattlesnakes. They are breeding now and she drops in May or June. Last year this female dropped 9 neos. Forgive me for not understanding but I can't reconcile the two statements.

In your message to us you stated you were offering him trade animal that is on his list of desired trades. He started cussing you out.

Here you state he cussed you out because you wouldn't trade him. The two statements don't line up. So do you mind putting up your side of the conversation?

Like I stated, I don't think anyone responding to a ad should be cussed out but I think many or going to think this is very petty.

Knowing there was no transaction and that you had a history with this individual that didn't want to do business with you and cursed at you before.

So did you contact him telling him his prices were off and you would offer him a lot less then what he stated in the ad? I would like to see your side of the conversation.

The history I had with this individual was, he wanted to trade those snakes for my leucistic cottonmouth pair. Anyone that knows any thing about these cottonmouth, knows they are very rare. At first I was really interested. But I changed my mind after doing some research. That's when I got called every name in the book, and I did forward those messages to the moderators. But here recently I came up on some hybrids and saw a chance to possibly get some really cool morphs, by breeding these with the other pair. So I offered them to him and he wanted to get my pair plus some , and replyed that I would just keep them then. Then I get cussed like a dog again. So yes. He's a very nasty individual and I hope he's not like that in front of women and children. But the leucistic pair I have were bought yesterday and my wife is taking them to the airport later to ship them. Plus I'm getting what I needed for my project for free from another breeder so I win regardless. I hope that clarifies it for you and I apologize for any confusion

For everyone else - IMO, Mr Rich is exaggerating a bit.
Yes, he got cursed at...but it was not to the extent that this thread suggests. Had I not personally addressed this issue, and others, with Mr Blanco - only to see he him disregard my warnings and continue with the same actions - my response would have much less extreme.

There is a legal defense in real estate called 'coming to the nuisance'. Essentially, it says that when one knows about some unsuitable quality having to do with a neighboring piece of land, one cannot then go buy next to it and complain. Want quiet nights? Don't buy near an airport. Have a sensitive nose? Don't buy next door to a hog farm.

That's what this feels like. You apparently were cussed badly enough to say something about it. Common sense to me says that you should not go put yourself in that position again. Yet there you went, back to that alleged nuisance.

Cuz I have to admit I was very wrong about those snake. They are gorgeous. If u still want that lucy cotton mouth pair I have I would definitely trade ya.
