    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Saturday I gave Edgar a call wanting to purchase one of his dragons.
We agreed to send money order today, I than text him this morning saying the money order has been sent and ill have the tracking number when I get my lunch break.
He replays with ok

Two hours later I recieve a message that he sold it to someone else.

Horrible business would not buy from him again.
 
You get your money back? Have proof you sent a money order and text conversation between both of you? Not saying your wrong but people on here would like evidence to support your claim if not its a bunch of he said she said bulls**t
 
We agreed on Saturday that I would send the money order this morning ( Monday) my gf sent it at ten thirty , I could inky get the tracking number at twelve cause that my lunch break, I text him at nine( that's my first 15 min break of the day) that I will hve the tracking number at noon, he said ok, when I get back to my car at lunch he has told me its sold to someone else, I'm really upset about this. He acts like he doesn't care at all , no remorse. I had my hopes up all weekend for this dragon , went out built a melimine cage for it and everything. It's just not right ,, idk if this is a scam for my money or what.

The money order should be at his house by three today, if he will send it back, idk. But here's the story, I contacted him on Saturday , we agreed upon me sending out money deposit Monday morning, he gave me address and everything. Monday mornin I send him a text stating, " I will have the tracking number by lunchtime time " ( this was at nine am, my first 15 min break) he replies, "ok". Remind you my gf is sending this out for me because I work it was sent out at 10 am , I could only get the tracking number when I was at lunch . I come to my car at lunch time and see a text that he has just sold the dragon. Had me believing all weekend I was going to get this dragon and even in the morning by sayin "ok" .

I was really upset , he tried giving me other offers on dragons, but it's the fact that he pulled out the last very second , I did everything I could of possibly done to keep my end of the deal up. HORRIBLE BUSINESS!!! And will not text me back.

I only have a iPhone, if I can send the screen shots of the text to someone and they post it up here for me( it won't work for some reason ) than I would appreciate that.

^Granting this is what your text messages say happened...This is just piss poor business practice. I am sure your money will be refunded, (I would have him send it certified mail mind you.) But that animal was considered "sold" as soon as you both agreed to a price and you made your best effort (as you did) to within a reasonable timeframe to generate the money order and get it in the mail to fulfill your end of the sales transaction. This is a breach of contract on his end and while you aren't necessarily entitled to anything for compensation. This does tarnish his name as a seller. I for one would rather pass on a seller who does this sort of thing.
 
In my opinion, if the entire story is being told, he was aware you sent the money before he sold it to someone else so technically, YOU paid first. If he was willing to accept a money order, then he was willing to wait the time for the money to go through the mail.
You had sent it BEFORE someone else paid cash. That animal belonged to you.
