In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Effect of tangerine on blizzard?

ok ok so he has a couple of black spots hehe but he is as white as they come, he was here last season on a breeding loan from kelli hammack and he is now back home with her..... beautiful and extremely LARGE but about as agressive as they come......

Spotty Blizz

Here's a picture of the male Robin was wanting to post. He is pictured here with his mother, who was produced in early 2000 from hets we purchased in 1999.

I call these two my "paradox blizzards" LOL I hope to continue breeding for more spots and have a line of "Dalmations". :D

Don't be so sure...

Well, I like your blizzard, Linda--don't be too sure that you couldn't sell her. <lol>

I'm sure I'm not the only one. I like the pure white ones, too, I like all the blizzards I've seen, actually.

you big breeder guys take everything and run with it dont you. get a few black spots on a blizaard. how much are those worth????? so now people are trying to get spots on a blizzard and removeing spots from a normal, leopard geckos have finaly come full circle. I think the next thing should be mini leos. really i think the most interesting thing we will see in the future is more red, and blue colors in leos. do you know what exactly a paradox phase is? it looks like you just splashed lizzie with some ink blots. is that trait genetic?

are you going to breed the male back to his mother to try and get more spotting? im guessing there is only a few paradox blizz. out there so i guess they are mostlikely all related?

Vince-

"Big breeder"? You must have me confused with Ron Tremper or Mark Bell or something, hehehe, anyway..

I have no idea what it is or what they are worth. Probably not much more than a regualr blizzard. I'm assuming it is genetic because I have produced many from this line with black spotting to some degree. I have sold lots of them (for the same price as the regular ones), and I have seen other blizzards with a black spot here or there on them too. I was actually just joking about them being "paradox" or "dalmation" or whatever, I just think they are kinda cool and it will be fun to see if I can produce more like that. That's the reason I enjoy breeding leopard geckos, because it is FUN! :D

i didnt meen big breeder as an insult or anything , and it would very cool to see a dalmation leo. how come there isnt any
pied leo geckos yet? is that just a snake trait or what?

Oh I didn't think it was an insult or anything, I just think it's funny to be called a "Big Breeder" for some reason.

Someone I was talking to on the phone recently told me he had recently seen some piebald leopard geckos in person, and he claimed to have some pictures of them. But he never sent them to me, and he wouldn't tell me who had the piebalds. Darn it.

I'd much sooner spend that for a leo than a BP. I love snakes, but I wouldn't pay more than 40.00 for ANY BP. And the only ones I'd pay that for is prob. a pied, which obviously won't happen.:D

no. actually i've seen pictures on VMS herps site of Piebald AFTs. aparently this only happens on thier feet tho... what they call socks.

paradox blizzard

also i think paradox blizzard is actually appropriate. Chad Fuchs has paradox albino hognose and the only thing that seperates them from the other albinos is a spot or two (in some cases more).

however....
werent the original blizzards linebred to remove the spots? maybe the originals were in fact paradox that was systematically bred out of the blizzard in hopes of producing a solid colored blizzard.

No, blizzards for the most part are solid white/grey/yellow. Occasionally there will be a tiny spot here and there, but I have never heard of anyone line breeding them to remove the spots.

direction of colors

Personally, I think it would be really cool to have dalmation like blizzards out there. Those were some nice leos. Isn't it true that someone or many people are trying to create the all black leo? That would be interesting too. A red one would also be cool, but I think a red one would just be a dark orange one, but never a striking red. A blue one also seems a bit out there, maybe a grayist one would put us in the metalilty to think that it was tinted blue, but I guess the red and blue would be in the eyes of the beholder.

Like the tang boom, I think it would be quite interesting to see these new colors and phases out on the market, but it will take several years.

I have a red leo he has a lot of spots but has a deep red color on his body head and carrot tail. I am breeding him to a rainbow female that shows a little red on her back. i will post a pic, but every time i try to snap a photo the flash washes him out and i cant get a good photo with my 2 megapixl camra. a few people are trying to get very dark leos. i recently sold a few of mine witch i thought where pretty normal looking. i was offerd a nice amount of money so i let them go.
