I just wanted to post this story. The other day a egg had a head sticking out and a baby working its way out of the egg so I decided to cut the rest of the clutch (2 days before I had them scheduled to hatch). So I started cutting the rest of the eggs and they were very slimy not what I get when I cut eggs ( I normally wait 54 days). After cutting the remaining 5 eggs I went back and cut the first egg that piped and it was twins that had developed a bit early due to less room in the egg and I most likely should have waited until today to cut the eggs as I had planned.
So I guess my warning is always look before you leap don't get in a hurry! The signs were there with that first egg. The head was very small, it was early day 51 and coming out, and I should have cut that egg first. Had I cut that egg and saw the twins I would have waited to cut the remaining 5 and just put the twins in their own shed tub and crossed my fingers.
All animals seem to be fine only 1 yet to leave the egg at this point (and of course its the one I want out yesterday blackbee ghost)
