Hey, this is Trip again just wondering if anyone has any advice on something that may be a behavioral problem. I like to have my geckos in a natural setting with sand(store bought) and rocks(firmly grounded) as the setup. I have never had any problems that are the most common in this area such as sand impaction, rock falling, etc. But my prize female shctb female keeps laying her cluthes in the sand, and by the next day they are dried out. The other two females in her cage lay them in the laying box filled with vermiculite. But she seems to prefer drying them out in the sand ( that's the way I have found them twice). I upkeep every gecko cage nightly, so she has layed them late at night, and byu early morning they are kaput. I shtere anything I can do to encourage her to lay in the proper place?
