Hatching your own tortoise egg is easy. All you need is your own incubator. I supply everything else. I also send you a very detailed electronic care guide that walks you through every step of the process from unboxing all the way through to a year old. It’s full of breeder’s tips and tricks to raise a healthy tortoise from the second it starts hatching.
Egyptians are not a starter tortoise, so i recommend experienced tortoise owners for this species.
They way it works is simple. You turn your incubator on to the same temperature I’m incubating these eggs at. You receive the egg, shipped over night. Place it in the incubator, and days later a baby tortoise will start hatching. I have a total of 110 eggs shipped with a 97.2% success rate. There has been three fails (one marginated and two russian). I have shipped two Egyptian eggs within that 110. Both traveled over 1000 miles and both successfully hatched. Depending on the situation, you get full refund or replacement egg if it doesn’t hatch. I’m a pretty reasonable person when it comes to this because this is my passion and I’ve been perfecting it for three years now.
The Egyptian eggs i have available were laid on 5/20/19 and 5/21/19, so they will be ready to ship in the next few weeks.
