    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

very long story but i'll try to make it short.
talked to eleizer for a while about an animal he had i was interested in.
decided i wanted to purchase the animal and was gonna send eleizer $800 the next day.
that evening i noticed a post on kingnske's chondro forum about another individual who had some trouble with him. i posted to get more info before i sent my hard earned $800 and a couple people responded and e-mailed me personally saying either not to send the cash or be very careful.
at this point i wasn't sending eleizer any money and he supposedly understood by putting himself in my shoes. several e-mails later eleizer agreed to send me the snake cod to save face instead of having another person ragging on him. i offered to send eleizer $100 in good faith since i wasn't sure if he was a good dude who was just having some bad luck or what, and i wanted to show a little trust on my end.
sent my $100 got an e-mail saying it was received and never heard from him again.
this dude is messed up. he knows several chondro keepers (dudes that spend big money on chondros and could have been future sales for him if he had half a brain to make himself look a little better by following through with a deal he made)knew of the deal and were anxiously awaiting the results. well the verdict is in, Eleizer Palacios is scum and a pretty sad individual to further taint his reputation over $100.
i'm sure there will be others to reply to this, i wasn't the first, i was forwarned, but wanted the animal bad and figured $100 was worth the risk for such an exceptional animal. damn shame it's gotta live in a house with such a large cochroach.

All I can say is this must have been one hell of a snake for you to send out a hunnit bones after you had allready been told to be careful.
I hope you get your money or some form of satisfaction
 
Steve...I'm VERY surprised at what happened?? I've DONE business with Eli, and I've spoke to him a couple of times on the phone! He even sent me 24 FRESH, WHITE CASTLE hamburgers (straight from the BRONX), in the SAME BOX he shipped my snake! Talk about a heat pack! They were DELICIOUS!! I've GOT TO believe there is some sort of miscommunication here, Steve....try CALLING HIM PERSONALLY at 1-718-365-6636 and maybe you guys can straighten this out! I hope so! ....Neil

I did a transaction with E as well.  I like the guy but he's VERY VERY hard to get a hold of after he has your money.  I spent over an hour and half on the phone calling him and getting told he was;
1) tied up to call back in 15,
2) So i did and then "he's gone, I think."
3) "No wait his doors locked and I cant open it."
4) "I think he's asleep now."
5) "no, I'm using the phone."
6) "Sorry to here about that, but he wont come to the phone."

Finally after I refused to stop calling an harrassing them, he came to the phone.  Funny thing is I heard them go ask him if he was able to answer the phone and they even told him it was me.  

This was after 2 weeks of failed shipping attempts on his part.  I got to the point on my last call where I told the girl I was driving to the Bronx to see him in person if he didnt answer the phone.  Amazingly he was home and awake at this time.  I was given all sort of excuses as to why he couldnt ship.  From No heatpacks, to I was to busy with my kid, I'm sorry they didnt pick it up. To I just simply forgot becausse I was staying at my girlfriends.  

So after I started to call him out on KS he suddendly had the time to ship and make things right when the threat of exposure was hanging over his head.

Now dont get me wrong, his animals are great and the one I got was fat and healthy.  But the follow through after receiving the money on his end is lacking some these days.  I would do business with him again, but only COD.

If you read this, these problems can be solved very quickly and easily.  Call folks when you say you will, ship when you say you will, and answer the phone.  Especially when the guy on the other end heard your voice ands knows your at home.

i've made several attempts to contact eleizer over the last few weeks. he even made a post on kingsnake recently where i publicly asked himt to return my money, he replied with LOL and that was the post. i feel i had lots of faith in eleizer being willing to even consider dealing with him after being warned not too. i would even still be willing to work this out now if he WOULD SIMPLY CONTCT ME, though i don't have the cash any longer right now as i know he's not gonna. if by chance he does i will find the cash and if it were to work out i would let everyone know that i got my gorgous new male from him.

dude, how's the bulls and the leo tort? shoot me some pics bud. yes it was a very very nice male, sucks to lose a hundred bucks, but if it had worked out i'd have had (if the pics were correct) a 70% blue adult MALE chondro which is pretty rare unlike solid hormonally blue females, he was gorgous no doubt.

Hello this is the horrible Eliezer who does not care about his rep.

well if i didnt care about my rep i would have ignored this whole thing and never waisted my time posting.

anyways i have emailed Steve and i am going to check tomorrow with my local cashier in which i had made and mailed out a $100 money order 2 weeks ago to steve if it has been cashed and if not then i will resend steve a money order for the same amount. i just spoke to steve via email and he told me he called me a couple of times in which i have not been home.
anyways we are handeling this misunderstanding as we speak.

i clearly told you when i was going to ship your animal and i gave you either monday or tuesday and before i ship i would call you. i obviously didnt call you on monday cause i was not shipping which means i was going to ship on tuesday. you had a panic attack and posted on the forums acting like i ripped you off. i also told you not to call me during the day as i am busy with school and work and dont play with snakes all day so im not home until after 10pm. you called my house about 5-10 times and disrespected my sister by giving threats after she told you i was not home. i dont understand you but your threats dont mean a thing so i hope you dont keep doing this everytime you want to buy a snake from someone.

another thing is that i didnt have to sell you the snake cause you didnt have the money for it, instead i let you pay it off for several months and your last payment took forever in which the weather got nasty by the time it actually got here. then you hassell me about shipping before the check clears and even after that you still wanted me to ship you the snake when the weather was below freezing. i only shipped you the snake so you could stop complaining even though i did the favor of waiting months for you to pay off the snake so i dont know why you say that im not trustworthy after i recieve money. i dont ship snakes on days when the temps areas low as they were but you refused but wanted live arrival gurantee?? i dont think there is a problem with me with this one.

i have nothing more to say cause i still have the emails as proof of all that has been said and there is no need to keep talking about this.

the last thing i want to assure is that i was not worried about people who spend big money on chondros. i dont care i have a job,lol. i spend big money too on my own snakes. i drew the line with this deal once someone else in Florida said that they were interested in another animal i had and also wanted to send me $100 and once the animal gets here they would send me the rest as me and steve already agreed to do. this is when i knew i was only bound to get screwed by someone so i cut the deal off with oth people. it would be nice to make a living off of snakes but lets be real im young and i need more money then the snakes provide so i NEED to work a real job.

i apologize to all who were affected by this and maybe i should have followed up with things but i have MANY real life problems in which the snakes arenot concerned for me to sit on a computer all day.

The monday and tuesday was 3 weeks before you actually sent it.  No calls no nothing unitl I called you out.  The check had cleared 2 weeks before you shipped.  Check your dates, I still have them and the shipping reciept off the box.   The first monday or tues was the excuse of no heat packs, the second was just simply no calls.

Before you go and get in deeper on this one.  Keep this in mind.  I did not say you where a bad guy, I did not say you had bad animals and I did not say you where a thief. Plus I said I would do business with you again.

What I was trying to tell you by showing you what I went through to get my animals was that you need to stay in contact with your customers better than you do now.  It does leave a customer with the feeling of getting ripped off no matter what excuses you come up with.

Na Troop, I wasn't sleeping.  I was already into the deal when it all came to light.  I did an INQ on him here and all came back OK so I started the deal.  Then the chondroweb email thing came out.   Its not in my nature to back out of something once I have given my word.  I'm just to moral and ethically bound to be man.  

But in all fairness the animal I got was fat and healthy.
 
just wanted to post again to keep everyone updated. when i first posted this thread, neil gubitz contacted eleizer and convinced him to get in touch with me. eleizer and i exchanged several e-mails and again i was promised my money would be in the mail in a couple days. it's never shown so hopefully continuing to post here will get something done.

just bringin this back to the top since eleizer's gettin some more fame lately. in case you don't know, he has to do with the "bronx reptiles/mother earth reptiles" post. eleizer is "bronx reptiles" and his good friend/business partner/roomate/daddy frank is "mother earth reptiles."

What a mess!


If I had know where to go to check on Internet purchasing from Dealers I would have never bought an animal from Frank Fusaro or Bronx Reptiles. The best we can make of all this was that:

A) I made my purchase off of a kingsnake.com ad from Bronx Reptiles and the salesman was a Frank Fusaro whose E-mail I now find belongs to a "Mother Earth Reptiles"

B) E tried to say it wasn't his business I purchased the animal from but that it was from Frank's. Then Why was Frank advertising with a Bronx Reptiles ad in the classifieds?

It seems like these two are partners and just passing the buck. I've already re-contacted the FBI regarding my original case and with all the extra information coming to light from all you good folks I never knew existed, E is going to have some Feds at his door when I'm done. I should have done this when the incident happened since now I don't have all of the original E-mails and such but I've got enough to work with. My original intent in posting anything at all wasn't to stir the pot but to warn others off. I'm pleasantly surprised with the response this has been getting. E recently put up a Yellow GTP for sale on the Aboreal Classifieds for $4500 and Bobby Pruett called him to the mat on it.

keep me up to date on what happens. i have evry single e-mail eleizer and i exchanged, plus e-mails from others sharing their thoughts and even the e-mails neil gubitz sent me when he was trying to get eleizer to wake up.
i won't be going away either, i'm actually taking a break from herps to concentrate on buying a home and i will stick around to see that anyone and everyone possible is notified of eleizer's actions. i respect eveyone i deal with and i expect the same in return which i got none from eleizer.

also, if you still have it, make sure you keep any prrof of payment to eleizer/frank. even though mine is only $100 i do still have the stub from the POSTAL money order i used to pay eleizer, along with the delivery conformation that it was recievd by eleizer via the U.S post office.
 
Well, here's MY experience with Eli....the first deal we ever made was about 3 years ago (or so), the chondro came in DOA, but...ELI MADE GOOD ON IT by sending me a chondro from his "personal collection" as compensation....which was FINE!! As a side note, he also threw in a bunch of fresh, WHITE CASTLE hamburgers (which I LOVE&#33<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>!! I can still taste them!
We stayed in touch after that, but, I haven't bought anything from him in a while....about 2 weeks ago he contacted me and offered me a yearling Blue Phase Chondro for x dollars....I told him that since we had the MINOR problem before, if he wanted to send it to me on APPROVAL, as soon as I got it, if I liked it, I would send him his money....well, the chondro came in, and I must say it's GORGEOUS, FAT, and HEALTHY!! I sold it in FIVE MINUTES through a KS post....ELI's check went out yesterday via UPS next day air (he should have it by now)! That was a VERY nice deal.....
Next week, if he can't sell his High-Yellow that he has for sale, he MIGHT ship me that one, too!
Just for the record....Eli owns BRONX EXOTICS....not, Bronx Reptiles (unless the names are interchangeable, but, I've ALWAYS known him as Bronx Exotics)....as long as he sends me the animals on approval....I'll do business with him forever! He might be a little tough to deal with, but his animals are SUPERB!!

wow, ok here's some interesting new info.
just got an e-mail from neil gubitz stating that he just received an animal "on aproval" from eleizer, meaning he didn't have to pay until he recieved the animal and found it was to his liking.
now, if you'll read eli's reply to this thread you'll find that this was supposedly exactly why eli didn't want to send me the animal i was interested in. he said if i do it for one person i have to do it for everyone. hmmmm, i guess eli has to do it for everyone now eh?
 
ok it's come to my attention that i was mistaken on the business names and i owe a public apology to "Bronx Reptiles"
I have never done business with Bronx reptiles and i apologise for the confusion and mistake.
The issues i've had were with Eliezer Palacios of Bronx EXOTICS, not Bronx REPTILES.
again, my aplogies to bronx reptiles, i will make a totally seperate post also.
