• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I purchased a group of captive bred Elgaria multicarinata multicarinata, California Alligator Lizards, and I am curious as to the legality of re-selling them. The seller had permits to collect and own several specimen and over the course of the last 10 years, he has been reproducing them like crazy. I think they are wonderful specimen and am simply trying to figure out if I can sell them. I already know the legality of owing them, Where I'm at it is perfectly legal to own. Are they a permanent addition to my collection, or can i breed and sell them to the general public?

AGAIN, INFO ON THE LEGALITY OF SELLING THESE WONDERFUL LIZARDS...NOT INFORMATION ON WHETHER OR NOT I MAY OWN THEM, TRANSPORT THEM....SO ON. SIMPLY ON SELLING THEM TO THE GENERAL REPTILE COMMUNITY.
