Well I was browsing ads today and I found one that upon reading made me suspicious...

It was posted by Elitexotics, but the poster signed it: Mike/Shaggy

Just thought I should bring this to everyone's attention, since the inquiry is about Mike - Elitexotics but only Marvin "Shaggy" Martinez has spoken up on Mike's behalf.

So should this topic really be Elitexotics/Bronx Dragon Depot?

I think we need a further explination now from Marvin "Shaggy" Martinez as to this percieved partnership.

Well, since you ask.

If you read my BOI on Jeremy Stark you would know that my KS account was cancelled due to me breaking there by laws and posting Jeremy's name in a negative manner. That is why I did not make the FEEDER post myself, under my own account or the 2.1 poss het pied ad for that matter.

Secondly, KS forbids their users to sell items for anyone else. So the easiest way that I can post my feeders on KS without getting ELITEXOTICS or any other breeder booted from the classifieds is by putting it under his company name and signed by the both of us,....which does not break their laws. If I was trying to hide something....SHAGGY would be the last name I should use ,....don't you think????

If I had any issues with any customers AT ALL, wouldn't there already by a query out on me???? hmmmmm???

And if you read the THREAD carefully, you would see that there are OTEHRS who have purchased from ELITEXOTICS and mentioned their fine experience with MIKE and his animals.

So your question is why do I have a fellow breeder post my product for sale under his account.....simple.....I have no KS account. Since it is signed with my name, there is no question that I am involved in that sale. So whats the problem?? How would you do it, if you needed something posted and had no account??? Probably the same thing huh?

All I see here is another poor attempt to look for problems in the wrong places. If your looking for info on me ask around..because I have many healthy animals on the market today......but if your looking for DIRT or JUNK....good luck, I don't do JUNK. I am one of the SMALL but GOOD breeders out there. And the facts don't lie.

I just wanted to check that your speaking up for Mike wasn't to save your own credibility.

What conclusion did you want me to draw from seeing an ad placed by you under someone elses name?

I think this was a fair inquiry, but I'm glad you want to turn it into a laugh at my expense.

1- you acknowledge violating the TOS and having your priveledges removed at KS

Personally, I might be inclined to admit to taking actions that have caused me not to be welcome someplace and simply go elsewhere to make a sale.

But I suppose you do what you have to do to make some cash, right?

I CAN’T BELIEVE this whole situation is still going on regarding a pic that I posted .As explained numerous times the pic was sent to me from small local breeder of BALLS .
I purchased the Ball even though I didn’t need anymore at that time, since the person was way over his head as you saw in the pic . I’ve spent months getting this snake to put on more weight and back to health, which I will do and always will even if I have to take a loss in out of pocket expenses. Money is not everything the health of the reptile is more important . The original pic that I posted again was sent to me by the above mentioned !!!
When I submitted the add in Fauna WITH THAT PIC I SHOULD OF LOOKED AT IT BEFORE I posted it. I have numerous pics on file of balls as you can see again I posted the wrong pic. I reposted a new pic of how I have all my reptiles set up some of course have different setups do to their requirements . If anyone still doubts me they are more than welcome to come to my place to take a look at my setup, I’m located in L.I . NY and ESPECIALLY Steve who recently tried to bash ‘Shaggy’. I post adds for Shaggy a fellow breeder to help him out and some one has to look for a reason to start a problem. I have and always will help a fellow breeder out as best as I can . I’ve never thought helping someone would be a problem but some people think otherwise. I did make a mistake when I posted that disgraceful pic, but that’s all I did. Shaggy and others stood up in my defense yet people who have nothing better to do have to find a way to start problems. If you still want to keep bashing me then do so but don’t bring other people in and try to ruin them.
I’ve been in business since ’96 and we all have problems from time to time but the one thing I would never do is hurt or mistreat a reptile, person etc. I’ve sold many different reptiles and yes things happen, this Hobby is sometimes not easy but it’s a addiction once your in it, it’s for life !!! If you have a problem with me, keep it about me !!! A pic can go a long way for people in this business and people will always try to find the FAULTS in anyone. Lets put this to rest and worry about our fellow brothers and sisters in Iraq who are preparing for war to defend us .

Actually Mike, the fact that you live so close to me is one of the reasons I paid attention to your ads.

I have not had a problem with you and still don't, in fact I was very pleased to hear the positive comments about a local herper.

Honestly, it was very disheartening to see the ad that showed a connection between you and Shaggy. I worried that two people I considered good guys might in fact not be.

That is why I came here to make an inquiry. I do not feel I did anything wrong in asking here.

But now all I've recieved is harsh replies stating that I have unjustly attacked your character? I'm not looking for a problem, like you insist. I saw something minor that made me question my perception and so I asked.

I did not report it to KS, I have no intention of doing something like that. I am not looking to start problems or make anyone's problems worse. I asked a question.

Forgive me.

I'm sure in person we would get along wonderfully. I'm sorry that online you feel everyone who asks questions is bashing you.

I took this personal because I spend alot of time caring and raring my reptiles . I just felt I was being judged for a pic that wasn't even mine which reflects the way people might think. Lets move forward and you never know we one day might do bussiness or cross roads . Thanks and hope bussiness is good .

Seems like most of the people on here try to get into other people's business. In my opinion the ad picture was not that bad. You can clearly see the snake is in good condition and that is what was for sale not the cage or stuff in it....Right.... Yes the duck tape could have caused a problem if the snake got in it. And I am not to sure that the water bowl was a water bowl, how many people you know cut the SIDE OUT of there water bowls..not many!!!! and as stated do you see old feces in the cage, looks like pretty clean cage to me Except the water/hide box(whatever). Also I wasn't aware that you had to take a picture of your snake with water in the bowl..LOL..Besides snakes don't have to have water everyday.... Well unless your a green tree python. But I am sure they will try and pick me apart now...oh wait AL G. already did...LOL...see ya'll this is just my thoughs. It would be a lot better if people would just tend to the snakes they own and quit being so Holyier Than Thou Are.
 
Talk about someone in dire need of something better to do.....this thread has been dormant for 7 months. I'm sure you have a Ball Python that is het for invisibility that you need to post somewhere. Geeez!!! get a job!!!
 
Look I was looking to see what OTHER CRAP ...AL G. has been doing much to my surprise it was all the same that he has done to me. So heck yea I am gonna respond even if it was dead for 5 year. This guy is a real class act, Hopefully he will get the boot for his comments he chooses to make to others. And I do have a job and it's not Snake related. You people on here act like a bunch of babies that have nothing better to do than POLICE what someone else does with his or hers animals. I really wonder how many people you all harass everyday about something that is none of your business, just like you responding to what I said, None of you business but yet you decide to slam me and make it yours...So be it. I have a vendetta aginst big old AL G. so I will do what I have to to get him back and show his charator...... because I owe him....he started on me first and I will end it...he is not far from out of here anyway

ALOT, I have around 30 water bowls that have the top/side cut out, but if you open your eyes and look at that pic you will see that the waterbowl was not cut at all. It was clearly burned.....

I spend countless hours with my animals, and I take great pride in my collection. You will never see any of my animals kept like that nor will you ever see me try to sell anything by adding "ish", "like", or that sorry ?? ploy. (Is it a Jungle?? Is it a Pastel??).
That is the reason I like to point out people like you that try to sell an animal by adding B.S. labels and have limited knowledge of the animals they try to sell.

Why Is it that the moderators of these websites always side with the ones that are really doing the damage. I got brought on this website by YOU ALL, I never entered the site before that day and NEVER CARED about it and I still don't. But I feel that I have the right to defend myself from the slanderous comments made aginst me and my company...Is this TRUE or FALSE. And I think If AL is being to harsh on someone for what they post, I should be able to tell my thoughts on the subject, WHere KEN did I NOT talk about THE THREAD posted BY AL for you th threaten me getting booted? Glad you're working things out with Bob. Apparently, the people on BC's site are just as hideous and awful and nosy and judgmental as the FC folks, because you had just as much trouble over there. The difference is that BC's forum booted you, and now you don't have anywhere to play except here.

So what did you do, David? Do a search on all of Al's posts to see which ones you could respond to in a derogatory way? I mean, you ADMITTED that you only replied to the thread because you didn't like what Al had written!

I really would expect this from a child, but not a grown man. You don't like Al? Great! Don't buy from him, don't sell to him, don't get together for pizza and beer. End of story.

You got an issue with a business deal that Al has done? Bring it on. You got some facts, and people will gladly hear you out.

However, this "yeah....well.....look what HE did!" is ridiculous. Stop already.
 
This thread is about Elite Exotics. It is not about Dave, and it is not about Al. In this matter, I'm not siding with, or against, either one of you. Whereas I interjected my opinion in the other thread, this is a separate issue as far as I'm concerned.

That being said, Al is not close to being banned. He has three warning points. Various offenses are graded differently, and it takes a total of 25 points to get banned. The list of warnings and their respective point values can be viewed here .

On that same note, even though you've stated that you're being treated unfairly, you've been given a lot of leeway. You haven't been assessed any warning points, nor have you been banned. Had I been so inclined, I'm sure that little gem of an email I received Friday night could have been construed as "antagonism towards a moderator."

OK KEN, Maybe this thread was about EliteXotics. But after I posted my thread, Your Webslave keeps telling me that someone has posted a thread about me. So what I supposed to do? If I am getting hassled about what I said in MIKE's defence of his picture which was clearly posted to HURT his business. That stinks. This should not be allowed unless the complaint is authentic and not just what they think, They should contact the seller if they feel the need. I will also be talking to Jeff at kingsnake to see if he can stop this stuff of people e-mailing people and telling them they cannot post the snake for whatever they want. Wether You or Anyone on here thinks it is to high priced or not, I see ads all of the time I think are to high, Do I tell then they are crooked, wouldn't even think of it NEVER. With that said. And Ken I will not post on this thread agian. Good LUCK ELITEXOTICS.
 
When you post, you can uncheck the little box at the bottom that says 'Email Notification', or you can permanently uncheck in the options. That way you won't get those emails. They're just for your benefit to let you know when your posts are replied to. Webslave was never emailing you personally, it was just an automated thing.
