    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was contacted by elizabeth king in response to an add I posted looking for a water monitor, she offered to trade for a reticulated python I had available when she sent a picture of the said "water monitor" it looked like a quince monitor to me so I asked for another picture and the one she sent looked like a dwarf monitor to me and I haven't heard back after I pointed all this out.

hi ben i think its a normal retic looks just like my friends normal anyways i paid 250 for the monitor at the white plains ny show last year but about prices yes they tend to be overpriced i compare prices based on alot of diff things but tame monitors i tend to pay more for anyways shes really a great monitor loves to be held will actually come over to you at cage wanting to be picked up but ya i would do a trade for the monitor if you would like just let me know ty liz.

I like his face and how the the yellow pattern crest across his back but he has the back similar to a quince monitor. I have a young reticulated and I couldn't tell you exactly the type but I'm trying to get that figured out, I attached a picture of the reticulated after she had just shed but you can tell her head and a little of her body still hasn't lifted yet. I don't have any nice boas the only boa I have is a Dumerils which no one seems to be interested in anymore. If you don't mind me asking how much did you purchase the monitor for I see them being sold overpriced lately and I have to believe it is because people see the high end ones go for higher prices and want to follow suit. Let me know what you think.

Well, unless she bought it out of somebody's backpack, or out in the parking lot, she didn't buy a water monitor at White Plains.
 
Yeah...those pictures definitely aren't of a water monitor...or even the same critter! That would be like...selling a Gecko, and sending someone a picture of a bearded dragon and then another of a horned toad and telling me they are not only the same animal..but also a Gecko! Wow...Pretty bad...
 
The second pic looks to be an Ackie. On top of that, it looks as though it is a picture taken of a photo on a computer screen. The flash reflection and pixellation don't add up, even for a crappy cellphone photo.

Oh, that picture is definitely a picture taken of a computer screen. Meaning that more than likely one could presume the picture is definitely not their own. This whole sale is a patchwork of bad form.

She is still emailing that they are the same monitors "100 percent" sure and that she reported me to her boyfriend cop to check on my permits for owning an albino burmese which I don't even own lol

Not sure if denial or crazy at this point. The fact she is getting hostile towards you doesn't bode well for her attempts at selling you a monitor haha.

Maybe the monitor she is trying to sell you is her COMPUTER monitor which she took a picture of and just so happens to have a picture of a lizard in it?
