    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Email form difficulties?

I've gotten a couple of emails from other users who went through the Fauna form to send it, the last few have not had a message attached, merely the name of the person sending it. I figured the first one was an accident, the continued difficulties are making me suspicious.

Problem with the form?

Problem with earthlink's email system when combined with Vbulletin?

Thoughts of any kind?
 
So far, all of the emails sent to me from this system have gotten to me complete. That includes the "report this post to moderator" sendings.

Anyone else having problems?

I suspect that many ISPs have instituted SPAM and virus blockers that sometimes go a bit overboard. When I sent out the mass mailing concerning the shipping issue in the BOI, I got back quite a few emails that wanted me to sign in and register to get my email passed through that barrier. I declined. I don't have time to do that. So anyone utilizing such a program via their ISP will likely never get any emails from this system, including those sent by other users.

Check with your ISP if you suspect a problem. It is YOUR email that they are filtering.
 
I'm getting the email... it's not filtering out the entire thing, just the body of the message...

Was the email contents from the last one, that was it. Just blank for a few lines below that. I've gotten three of them like this, all in the last week or two.
 
Nothing has changed on this end. I suggest you contact your ISP about it to see what they have to say.
 
Seamus - Earthlink may be the cause of your problems.

I just replied to an email from another user and got this bounced back to me:
