• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Don't let this guy get under your cyberskin John, its what he wants in the least. We all know you and he's just hanging himself at this point. Start up another thread with this guys actual name/names and put it all in perspective for everyone who doesn't know whats going on exactly.

John, for your humorous outlook on life and timely comments here on the BOI, you are my hero...everyone at work always wonders what I'm laughing about   <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

not like this schmuck can do anything to you other than blather away pointlessly...we all know you're a good guy.

Just a heads up folks. Be on the lookout for odd/strange e-mails. I have been receiving a slew of them today. Each mail message is 123kb. However, they are all being sent from different senders and different message titles. I would post them, however I have been unable to open any of them. Each time I try, I get a page unavailable message. That a syntax error has occurred. But here are some of the senders and titles:

  1. --Jungle Herps    Let's be friends
  2. acreechris          By Kingsnake.com
  3. <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>1234               4321<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

There are several others, but I erased them and can't recall right off hand the senders and titles. My pc has also detected and eliminated 4 viruses today. Ever since my run-in with Steve, I have been getting a lot of odd e-mails. As well as good ones from good people. For the record, I have no proof whatsoever that it is Steve responsible for the e-mails and/or the viruses. I just think y'all need to be on the lookout if you weren't already. Thanks.

forward them too me....
let me take a look for you....
sometimes the firus sends them out with a fake senders name....but my outlook can still tell me who the real sender is

Since the virus can parse a web page that you've been to and take the email addresses out and the fact that this issue has increased the number of times you've posted or other people have posted things with your email address online this would also increase your chances of getting sent a virus. Steveo doesn't seem bright enough to actually figure out how to control a virus  <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

This is what is shows on my inbox screen. This is just one of the messages.

That is what I get I open most of these e-mails. Can y'all clue me in? The above is what I get when there is no attachment. When there is an attachment, I get a virus alert.
