    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i have an etb i had it about 3 months and she is just now shedding but it looks like she is having trouble. the skin is peeling but i dkn if i should just remove it or not. the humidity is good i mist her 2 to 3 times a day. wat can i do?

I'm no expert, but I'm sure that you should never try and manually peel half-shed skin off.

What I do if there are raggy bits or a half shed not coming off properly is take the snake and gently immerse it in luke warm water for just a few minutes, then let it run through either my hands or a dampened rough towel. This usually brings off any remaining bits.

VERY important: DO NOT PULL. Let the snake move at it's own pace.

Pay particular attention to the head: I've had snakes shed the whole body but not manage to get the "spectacle" scales off the eyes. This can cause eye infection.

Of course it depends on your snake and whether it is calm when being handled. If you can't handle it well, I guess lots of misting and making sure there is as some roughened surface in the tank for it to snag the skin on is your only recourse.

Good luck!

Avoid those shed assist crap commercial junk, just water.

You say that it's shedding right now? Leave it alone if that's the case, wait till tomorrow.
