    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hey guys,

My dining room has a built in shelving unit that I think looks pretty tacky as is, so I'd like to jazz it up a bit and turn it into an enclosure for something. The first animals that come to mind are chameleon, green tree python, or emerald tree boa. I'm leaning more towards a gtp or etb. I've never had the pleasure of working with either but they've been on my list for a while. The dimensions are 29 in wide x 42 in tall x 14 in deep. There is a drawer underneath it and by taking that out I could extend the height to 51 in. My question is to anyone who has or is currently working with gtps/etbs, is this a big enough space to house one of those? I know the height and width are there I'm just concerned that the depth might not be there. I might lose a couple inches on those dimensions after adding insulation/backing/plexiglass.

Also, I've done a little research on gtps and etbs, are they really that aggressive? I see a lot of pictures of people handling them with hooks. I had an atb a while back who was absolutely atrocious, but I also purchased him as an adult. If I get a hatchling is it possible to hand tame them? I work with tokay geckos which are generally pretty aggressive but mine are all handleable since I got them as hatchlings and handle them daily, or at least every other day.
