    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Kelli are you allowed to let us know what you were crossing to possibly get those beauties? I know you said you haven't figured out the genetics fully, but thought maybe some of us would like to start trying for one of those too??? Just a thought.
 
Marlo, from Kelli`s post I believe Mark B. from Reptile Industries actually produced them. They are now working on the project together though.

They came out of the Bell line of Albinos, and hopefully Kelli will have some more info beyond that, for us all. :)
 
My guess, this is more of a genetic "fluke" rather than a deliberate cross. *AHEM* APTOR
 
True....but my point is, this wasn't something planned...it showed up. I doubt it's something someone else can duplicate with seperate breeding groups at this point in time - unlike some other recent morphs. *Cough cough APTOR cough cough*
 
Oh I get you now, sorry.

Well we can recreate the 'patternless' of the APTOR, but what about the solid or snake eyes? We really havent seen proof of that yet. Maybe Alberto has spilled some beans? Because I have no babies (eggs even unfortunately) yet, from "Het" RAPTOR X Patternless Red Stripe.

Kelli and Xavier are the only others that have the 'ingredients', im not sure what is going on with them either.
 
I'm guessing the red-eye/eclipse trait is something separate from the APTORs (just speculation of course). But, I'm also willing to bet Ron found the red-eye gene BEFORE he announced and released APTORS. After all, the acronym APTOR is kinda silly (especially when broken down to the meaning...it's a stretch for sure) BUT RAPTOR (adding that all important Red-eye) at least sounds cool for a morph. I bet he had the red-eyes, thought of RAPTOR, and forced it to be an acronym, then released the APTORS to maximize the hype and money. Again, just my personal thoughts and speculations.

Definitely. He said it came out of the APTOR project though, both the albino version and the "Eclipse" popped up. Who knows when the name was made up, but im very sure "RAPTOR" and "APTOR" were the names before any APTOR was ever sold. I still laugh that alot of the APTORs were carrying the red eye genes though. Goes to show how long it really takes to prove something. Or maybe.... hmmm wont go there.
