    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

True >< its sad people like this exist in this hobby. Are you going to seek legal actions against them or anything?

I have already begun that process. Unfortunately it works slow being in different states.
I agree there is no room in this hobby for people like Erik. Especially when I heard so much from him about conservation .. just to find out its all lip service. He only cares about what he wants. No matter what the cost to the Species is A real shame given the Species he has particular interest in.

The Centers legal firm has been monitoring this for a week and do to the lack of unprofessionalism we are already in process of filing legal action against Mr. Cole and his company.We also have all relevant information of the parties who made unprofessional,slanderous remarks against the Center and it's principals.The snake issue is a civil matter which usually means it would have to be settled in the state the snake was sent or perished in.Slander,deflamation of character and misuse of private material and a host of others is a criminal matter that is prosecutable in either state which Mr. Cole will be advised of by our council.Calling our organization and it's principals a thief or a con artist on a public forum is a criminal matter and will be prosecuted as such.According to our firm we are entitled to excessive monetary damages.In todays political correctness,society you have to be careful what you say on a public forum,because under the law parties can sue for misrepresentation of thought.
 
For everybody that wanted me to respond my name is Donnie Taylor and I have been working with the Center for about a year on several research projects and it has had a very positive influence on my life.As for the people associated with the center,they are all wonderful people.Ari has been a team member for 10 years and he's very professional. He is and always will be part of the Center.I, for one, am proud to be part of the Center,because I believe in their goal of conservation.

Slander is verbal. If you're going to start throwing out legalese then you might want to start using libel. I know this is confusing for your legal department. A lot of people have trouble with it. It is defamation of character. And the "host of others" comment, too funny. Just trying to help Donnie.

We should get some screen shots of their site before they change it or take it down..

Actually Donnie...if you are doing business of any kind in another state a person can sue you in their own state. If your organization bought a snake from Michael Cole who is in the state of Florida, you are doing business in that state. If your organization has bought/sold/or traded animals in the state of Florida then...yes he can file in the state of Florida.

Since that time I have been sent a PM, from one of the people whose names have been bolded above, requesting that I post a clarification that they are only "a contributor to the Boelens book and not a member of CFRAR".
The person from that list who contacted me says they have never met Mr. Stoops and that they too were burned by him.

Since I don't think this person has posted in this thread of their bad deal and contacted me privately I can only assume that they does not want their name specifically mentioned so I ethically cannot reveal it.
Suffice it to say, given the info that Mr. Flagle has announced his disassociation with CFRAR and one of the people from the list above has contacted me disavowing any association with Mr. Stoops, their may be a number of others listed on that site who have no desire to be even remotely considered an associate of CFRAR or Mr. Stoops.

I do hope this satisfies the person who sent me the PM.
If this violates the third person rule I would be more than happy to allow Dr. Owens to see the PM sent to me knowing he would keep the person's name confidential.
