I was just curious to see if anyone has dealt with these guys and how it turned out. A reference to what you bought and how closely it matched description is also appreciated.
Thanks

Matt,

Ive known Corey, owner/operator of Estillian reptiles for several years now. Not a bad words been heard about him, his animals are always flawless and if anything better than he describes them. Hes reasonable and very very easy to deal with, you can definately buy/trade in confidence......hes a treasure to the industry.

Ditto

I did a trade or two with Corey and was completely satisfied. He ships when he says he's going to ship and the animals have always been healthy and as advertised. No complaints here.....

I've talked to Corey in person before at shows and he seems like a real good guy. I've heard nothin but good things about him.

I Did a trade with him we made a deal and i sent him my part of the trade first and he shipped when he said he would and the animals were exactly what he said and very healthy i would do business with him again

I purchased an orange ghost het female from Corey last year, she is a very nice animal, great bands, eats rats and is growing nicely, around 1000 grams. I will prove her out next year, and there is no doubt that she will be a het.

I have corescponded with Corey in the way past.

I can't wait to get enough money to buy some of the super animals he has.

Estillian Reptiles

Hi there,

In my experience, Corey Estill is an honest seller and a great guy. He bent over backwards to finish our last transaction for a group of butterscotch ghost hets, and the animals were healthy and absolutely gorgeous upon arrival. I would happily do business with him again in the future.

His website can be found at

This is not a stab at him...just my experience.

I bought 2 female snow corns het stripe last year.
I live 3.5 hours away and decided to pick them up.
He was great to talk to and proptly answed email.

Here is the problem.

As soon as I got home I tried to feed the pair.
One of the snakes didn't eat.
I immediatly contacted him on this fact and I told him that I didn't mind working with her to get her to eat.
He said "keep me informed".
So, I did. Every couple 3 or 4 days.
After a couple of weeks of failed attempts of split braining, washing, cross scenting, etc.
I contacted him about returning the snake for another one.
I expected we would each cover our own shipping expenses.
I wasn't able to drive to swap them out.

He said it wasn't worth it to him. I would have to pay shipping both ways. So I guess it wasn't worth it to me.
I would have to pay over $100 for a new snow corn het stripe and MAYBE it would eat.
He guaranteed the snakes to be feeding in the first place.

So...

The snake died.
I'm out $40 or $50 and a snow corn het stripe because?

I guess it depends on how you look at it.
I am not attacking him . Just sharing my experience.
I will not buy from him again. There are too many other known reputable breeders to buy from.
My opinion is that if he wanted more of my business he would have shipped me the snake. He wouldn't have lost money is what gets me. He just wouldn't have made as much in the short run.
The feeding snow corn is doing great and looks to be from good genetics.
If I were him I would have wanted some of the $2300 I've spent on snakes this year. I won't buy from him again because of this incident...I guess it isn't worth it!?!?

I have only made one purchase from Corey - if I remember right it was 9 House Snakes. They all did well, the deal went well, and Corey was courteous, prompt, and packed & shipped well. I am surprised about the above post - but as I said I recived snakes that were not really a problem.

C. Estillian - Two thumbs up !

I just finished a deal with Corey for a breeder group of spotted pythons. Corey was easy to deal with, shipped when he promised, shipped them correctly, and the animals I received are superb.

Two thumbs up for Corey Estillian !

Thanks, Stephen Emerick

I have purchased several snakes from Corey and had great luck with all of them. I purchased twenty corns from him this year and all are doing great.

Corey is a great / honest guy!

I have posted before on Corey and will add my experience here on this thread again.
I have known Corey for 5 years now and he has been a good friend and a great guy to know. I have also purchased a few boas from him in the past, (4 years ago) one of which was an adult female Stripe Poss Het Albino that proved out her first season I had her and gave me 3 Sunglows! She is doing great and all other boas I have purchased from Corey are doing great! I also just completed a deal with him to receive one of his 'Estillian Red Pastel' females.
Corey has worked very hard for the great reputation he has, which is obvious from all the positive responses here and any other posts regarding him. Keep up the good work Corey!

Regards,

Thanks

I appreciate all the good things you guys have said about me. I've worked hard to try to do all the right things in this buisness that seems full of bad guys. To the above bad post, to be honest I really don't remember the deal but if you wanted me to cover shipping of one back, another corn, and shipping of that corn back to you then I would be out about 110$. If that was the case surely I offered to refund your 40$?

In referance to my website. I've been very buisy as off late and haven't been able to keep it update so its kind of been forgotten about. Once I get moved into my new house in a couple of weeks I'll have it up and running good again.

Again thanks for all the kind works
