Has anyone conducted business, or heard anything about "Eublah exotics"? Its a company advertising itself as a reptile exporter from Ghana.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I (Personally) wouldnt trust out of country trades or sales. There are a lot of scammers based out of Ghana and Cameroon. If they are asking a really low price, It is probably a scam. Also if they are pressuring you into sending the money fast before really answering any questions also a flag for a scam. Do some research on google on that company name. Ask for an address google that too see if it matches up with what they say. Thirdly if they send you any pictures check the properties and see if the IP address says google or some other search engine. There are a lot of signs to point out an oversea scammer, just got to do your research. But like i mentioned before there are a lot of scammers in that region who do pet scams ranging from exotic birds, reptiles, and even large cats. How they get you is they sell it to you cheap, say they shipped it, and then you get an email from a hoax animal airline shipping company who says the shipper forgot to put insurance on the animal, and it is being held at an airport until it is payed. Then the original seller calls your 24/7 to pressure you into paying it so the animal doesnt die or some blah blah. At this point they already got you and trying to get more. Sad reality the animal doesnt even exist.
Just be careful, If you have a gut feeling telling you "NO!" its probably right! I'd hate to see someone else get screwed by another online scam artist. Do your research and IMO just stick to buying from the top named Herpers. You know you wont get screwed by them, and if you do you can just sue them! lol dont do that we like them.

What I can tell you with certainty. Tetteh with Eublah Exotics has been posting on KS since 2000-2001. We has posted ads for a lot of wildlife not just reptiles.
He also posts on another forum I visit since 2005.
He has used several similar business names over the years.
The current website has been up since 2009.

I've looked at some of his ads over the years and did a search a couple of years ago and couldn't find anything negative. Didn't find anything positive from someone I know either.

I know, not much help.
But I have come to a couple of conclusions myself.
Either he is a good exporter and nobody has made any comments on his business or he is a really lousy scammer that hasn't been able to fraud anyone in the many years he has been advertising. At least none that are willing to come forward.

Thanks for having me on this forum.
I have been running Eublah Ent over 18 years now. I have exported to almost every reptile importing country in the world.
I have done business with almost everybody that matters in the reptile trade.
I am not upset in anyway, when people worry about business from Africa.
Am in Ghana, and I perfectly understand the scams arround us.
I will suggest ways to avoid such scams to the unkownly importer.
1. please do not send western union or money gram, if you have not done business with the person for more than 2 years. All serious exporters must have bank accounts in the business name or name of the person who owns the business.
Banks check for identity before opening acccounts, frauders usually avoid banks.
2. In the case of Ghana (speaking for only Ghana). All exporters have been licenced by the Wildlife Division of the Forestry Commission. Since only 16 people are licensed, they are known at all times.
Importers should ask for copies of old CITES permits. Such permits should have the Business name of the exporter. The permits also have the contact of the CITES office for verification.
Also, Importers must see copies of Old AWBs and Vet certs.
The awbs should be that of British Airways or Delta Airlines. It is important, since these two airlines, needs to certify each exporter quarantine , before accepting shipments from their business.
The veterinary will not also issue health certificate, unless they see a copy of CITES. In Ghana, even non CITES are put on permits. You can check from Importers in Florida especially.
Also, importers should be cautious, when someone is offering you reptiles and animals, not even native to Africa, it is fake.
I have noticed most of these so called exporters, do offer everything including tigers, macaws red foot tortoise etc. The pictures they send, internet pictures, do not believe them.
I must however say, scams exsist everywhere. Being an exporter from Ghana for over 16 years, I can say importers are also big time scammers. I have lost so much money in the USA. Asia importers are very honest, so is with Canada and some European countries.

Sorry for the late reply. Noone on here knows me, or has even heard of me, and that it ok. I just want to voice my support for a man that I have met, done business with, and have much respect for. Tehteh? I knew him back in 2000 when I lived in Accra, Ghana as a very young man trying to find my way in the reptile world. My venture ultimately failed, for many reasons, but most of all being very young and naive, and not having someone to teach me the ropes.
I can tell you that he has many long standing relationships with top importers in the United States and Europe. Many breeders of what used to be high end morphs of ball pythons did business with him (regardless of if they know it or not).The animals I saw at his quarantine where always in the best condition that you could reasonably expect in that side of this trade. He was always into more animals than just ballpythons. He knew the future was in diversity of services not specializing. He saw how internet access even back in those early years was running a legitimate trade into a wild west show and how people were getting greedy and ultimately making it harder for all of them to earn a living.
Although his insects where pretty sweet.
I lost his contact information almost a decade ago, along with the information to most other exporters based Accra, Lome, or Contineau, so I will not provide that, but a skilled internet search could should lead you to legitimate exporters.
Caveat: The import export business is a money talks business. I have seen many exporters and trappers buy and sell animals out from under another, or from customers because waiting for a wire transfer to finalize 18-24hours later was too long when there was someone there with cash in hand. You must have your finances in order, learn how and when to negotiate, and when to jump on something if something rare comes up. But most importantly, you must be available for communication during their business hours, be reliable, and consistent.
don't expect great things for chump change, but if something you really like comes along be prepared.
