    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

everyones opinion Please!!!!

i did the trade because he couldnt house the large snake. thats why he wanted smaller snakes. yes this is on me i should of really checked it out before i did the trade. only took 5 min and i just wanted to go home. i was so mad when i seen it was a male but he swore up and down its a female. now he will get the proper treatment he needs and he at a full grown ginni pig last night so atleast he was hungry. great looking snake and gentle as can be. going to the vet wednesday so i feel good i saved this snake but now i wonder how my balls are getting treated????
 
It's really simple.LEarn to sex snakes.

If you need/want animals of a specific sex, learn how to check yourself.

Minors or otherwise you'll come a cropper MANY times in this hobby trusting other peoples sexing of snakes.
 
I seen this kid post in many adds, he is a minor living with his parents that suposedly do not like reptiles (one of his posts in someones add cant remember where said) you have his mothers phone #, in the state of PA a parent is responsible for a minors actions, not to say anything can be done because you completed the trade (unless he stated it was healthy then its truly misrep), but you can call his mother speak with her tell her what the vet has said and you want your snakes back along with the money her son owes you witch she is leagaly responsibl for and and the cost of the vet visits which you can also leagaly claim. At that point she may give you your snakes back and tell you to keep the burm. Just a little advice on what you can do. Next time I suggest not dealing with minors or someone who has misrepped what you are trading for or buying.
 
The mom is responsible. But at best you could get her to agree to trade back for the balls.

The kid agreed to trade back. Why not just trade back? I know it's a long drive, but maybe you can get the kid's mom to foot the bill for the gas and toll fees for the second trip.

If the kid or his mom agree to some other trade, or payment or whatever, that would be nice. But I don't think you can legally demand money for gas, tolls, vet bills, etc.. if you keep the snake.

I hope you get it worked out, and if I were you, I would deal with the mom only. The minor cannot enter into deals, so you might as well start dealing with the legal adult.

with the way that PA law is written she cannot demand the money from the mom it would have to be recovered in small claim court but she is still legally responsible for it and if she knows that she may want to aviod all the legal stuff be agreeing to whatever. The kid did agree to trade back but he didnt pay her the first time. Im not saying you should sue them however you have the grounds to do so. A private transaction went bad with the goods in question were missrepresented. You have the legal grounds and proof to do so if you should wish. I personaly do not think this kid has the knowlege or resources to properly take care of reptiles. I am all about kids growing up with snakes and lizards as I did, but only when they will be taken care of properly. I fear for you 2 Ball and if you trade back I fear for the Burm.

if my female tail wraps your arm, you'll bleed. she's got big spurs. the only truly reliable way to tell sex without popping for visual check is probing. probe it and then you'll know without a doubt. spur size varies greatly, and although a guideline may work with most, it certainly does not apply to all. i did not read the entire thread, if conclusions are made, i apologize for intruding.
