• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Exploit Toolkit Website 33 Attack

I did an internet search 'redirected to Adult Friend Finder' and lots of stuff came up, apparently this particular redirection has been happening on all sorts of different sites for years.

I had a issue on my forum for a adsense coming from google that was for one thing, but redirected my members to porn sites. That was the last straw for me to disable it all together.

I have the advanced search page bookmarked and it pops up with an adult website when I click on the bookmark sometimes. I don't know if that helps at all.

I've just had my first issue with being redirected when trying to open FC. Here's a screenshot of what it tried to do. All it yielded was a blank page. Guess I'm not lucky enough to get sent to porn sites. :NoNo:

I got redirected to a full-screen video ad/site/webpage for Mobile Dates just now. I have a bookmark set to the "New Posts" link, so my first entry into the site is always the New Posts view. It caught me before the FC page came up, and has not happened again in my browsing, similar to others' experience.

I've been involved in internet tech for 20 years... I'm doubting that this is a Google Ads problem. Mostly I say that because is anyone seeing actual AFF Google Ads on the site? I have NEVER experienced this on ANY other forums/site of even a "mature adult conversations" nature, that runs Google Ads. Ever. I think there's definitely malicious software on the server. I say this mainly because the probability that we are all experiencing the same botnot or Trojan exploit is too small to countenance, and because we all are seeing the same thing, even though our internet browsing histories are different... so even if some of the users ARE being fed ads by Google based on their browsing, I, for example, have site tracking completely disabled, and cookies set for me to have to turn them on explicitly, manually, and by domain to even enable them. Even if I spent 3 hours a day on AFF (which I don't, I've never been there in my life), there would be zero record of that on my computer, and nothing for Google to justify throwing me that ad, really.

I am not sure your server techs are being forthcoming. Anytime you hear something called "toolkit", it smacks of a server-side trojan...

Interestingly enough I still haven't gotten an redirects myself from either this site or CornSnakes.com, which are both on this same server and both vBulletin sites. However, I have gotten redirects to AFF TWICE now from my CorvetteFlorida website which is not on this server, and is actually just a hosted domain with a completely different hosting service than who I have my leased server from. And, of course, no one really knows what is going on.

My programmer spend a lot of time last night working on this, and he says he feels the problem is in the server system code. Of course, the server techs are saying that they think it must be in the vBulletin code.

And here we are stuck in the middle.

Obviously there must be other sites and servers out there suffering the same problem, so I guess eventually someone will figure it out. In the meantime, it looks like my only two choices are to just grin and bear up under it, or else shut my sites down and walk away from the internet completely.

So far, all that has happened to me is that I got redirected to the AFF site a couple times. I'm not really looking for an AF at the moment and if I was I sure as heck would not select one from their site, but other than a momentary waste of time that's all that happened.

I have been getting redirected to Adult Friend Finder all week on my iphone and am so frustrated that I stopped trying to look at Fauna when I am out of the house because of it. Now when I try to get into Fauna from my Mac laptop, it is trying to redirect me to porn sites. Does anyone know if the malware can affect Apple products as well as PCs? I am going to have to stop using Fauna if this is not fixed.

Got a screenshot this time.

No one blames you, Rich. You do the best you can to stay ahead fo the game and keep the forum shipshape. Hopefully the conversation can help us all find out and fix exactly where this is coming from.

I just got a new one when I clicked on Fauna. I'm conflicted though. She was really hot and had perky nipples.

I'm doing the best I can. You have to do what you believe is best for you. Nothing I can do about that.

BTW, I have not yet gotten this redirection problem that a lot of you are talking about. But it may just be because of the browser I am using. When I got the redirection when I went to CorvetteFlorida.com, I was using my laptop which is running Internet Explorer.

If anyone is interested, here's the browser I am using on my main PC -> http://www.maxthon.com/

Don't get me wrong. I like Fauna and I appreciate all that you do. I can see that you are making an effort to correct the problem. I am just consistently getting re-directed to AFF and other sites every time I access or refresh the geckos classifieds section, even if I access it from bookmarks on both my Mac and iPhone. Interestingly, clicking on the link to this forum from the email notification bypasses whatever is causing me to get redirected when I am trying to look in the classifieds. If someone can tell me whether there is any risk to my Mac or iPhone, it might affect whether I choose to continue using Fauna until the issue is resolved. (By the way, I do not run Windows on my Mac.) It is driving me crazy getting redirected each time, but I can deal with a little bit of it, if I know there is nothing there that is going to cause actual harm.

I don't know. As I have mentioned, I haven't gotten a redirection, so I haven't see how my virus block program deals with it. Are there virus issues on mobile devices too?

Ive noticed issues being blocked aswell. Was getting white pages but when not blocking url in address bar has been redirected. Seems random, and most often going to index on initial load. I have not seen anything on mobile devices as of yet.

I have been on a couple of different computers and I still haven't been redirected, received a popup, or the Exploit Toolkit warning. I haven't received any malware warnings at all.

I switched to a different laptop and different desktop. The laptop I used yesterday and I'm on right now only has AVG on it, running Firefox with NoScripts, better privacy and Bitdefender as add-ons. I'm still getting nothing.

I just got redirected to the same site Dan was...Just a blank page with the browser bar... Happened with Firefox, Chrome, and IE...
