    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Facebook Payment System?!

I just noticed today that Facebook has a payment function in messenger to send money to and from friends. Apparently this is done by submitting debit card information to Facebook by both users. Has anyone used this feature? Does anyone know where I can find the fine print? With all the issues surrounding Paypal, I'm skeptical of new services...
 
I've only done a tiny bit of reading on it but personally won't be lining up to try it out, not with Facebook's past history of protecting information. The last thing I want to do is give them my credit info ...
 
By making payments part of its oft-used messaging service rather than a standalone app, Facebook is looking to edge out dedicated P2P payment competitors like Venmo/PayPal, Google Wallet, and Square Cash, which people open less frequently. That’s the same strategy as the Square Cash-powered Snapcash feature Snapchat launched in November.
