    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What I mean by this is-- On many breeder sites you see pastels quoted at $2000 and up. But in reality you can search and find a perfectly nice pastel for $600 or thereabouts.
So what are the actual going prices as opposed to the "advertised" price? List as many as you know. Thanks

There are a few things to consider here. Quality of the animals markings, there are some plain jane pastels out there and then there are some real hotties. You are going to pay more for the hotties. Gender is another. Females are still getting much higher prices than males, particularly the hotties. Age, newly hatched 06 babies are going to be much cheaper than 05s that are 500 plus grams. Then you have to take into account the breeders themselves. Nerd, Ralph Davis, Mike Wilbanks, etc are going to be able to command a higher price for many of their animals than me or you would for identical animals.

So as you can see the going price can have a lot of variables to it.

indeed, a lot of people breed to pay for the upkeep of their collection and for the love of the morphs, not just the cash, so some people will naturally charge less or more depending on personal reasons. I find the same applies to fedora makers who make them the old fashioned way, or sword makers who could charge less, but it isn't worth their time to deal with every lame person who want a fantasy katana. so i can see both sides of the equasion. (sp?)
